It's been a hectic start to the season for Celtic, but what is your honest rating for the 2026/27 campaign so far? 🤔

cameronmacvicar25d ago

An extremely poor start, I was hoping for better this season but it's the same old. Since Ange left the football has been rubbish. Unless their is major change Celtic will not win the league

Martin ONeill is great manager and the players are good quality players who need to believe in themselves more. This team should beat every team in the SPL comfortably. Including rangers who are a very average side.

I'd give it a B so far. We got off to a great start, and some of the new signings looked really good, plus the form of Yang was electric. Then a few injuries, and our European misadventures really exposed our shortcomings, and the wheels came off a little. I believe we can certainly recover, and should be plenty good enough to take another League Title.

I'd be given the season so far a C still early days and we're still top but we look a poor disjointed team. The double last season only papered over the cracks!!

How gave scales a new contract always out of position slow as a week in jail always passing back we spent a fortune on Hassan and he's sitting on the bench midfield has no bite nobody tackles opposition run through us hough can't carry a ball play Duran through the front use the wingers stop passing back

madmick8871w ago

Ok but should do better in Europe and against that mob.

weeger19551w ago

I still yhink the Motherwell manager from last season being bedded in by Martin O Neill along with Scott Brown to show the midfield how to win the ball. Once Mcgregor gets matked out of a match the midfield is non existent

There’s no option for Z lads

petercassidy8541w ago

Hope martin leaves why would you want all this crap at 74" also the coaching team need replacing and stop all this celtic connection most of them where 2nd rate players.

petercassidy8541w ago

Martin went along with the board on there way of buying players knowing the midfield needed overhauling completely and other positions in the team but midfield especially and now look what has happened martin to blame no one else.

hughesjp551w ago

Yes but I've seen this before many times with many teams, let's not forget the season has only started and we are at the top of the league table, look what Martin O'Neill done last season, brilliance, and I suspect the same will come again, the man was in hospital and yet the scum press are hounding him well stuff them, Martin and the hoops will prevale.

mmaca19581w ago

A tentative Okay for me. Things showed signs of improvement at the start of the season but a lot of the old underlying issues resurfaced quite quickly. There now appear to be question marks around the dressing room harmony and the coaching staffs tactics and approach. Throw in a lack of leadership at the top, and the club are in a pretty bad place altogether

The ineptitude of the Board at Celtic Park shows no signs of abating as yet again we delay until final days of transfer windows and then get gazumped by selling team looking for top dollar and we call off the transfers. It's becoming the norm and the fault lies at the top. Time to relinquish MrD

jrconcertina31w ago

No plan.. the players look like they don't know what each other is doing or what the next pass will be... of course it can be turned around. These guys are good players... They need to get on the same page.... Midfield is very weak at moment.... Very little physicality

gerry.docherty71w ago

Very poor, really bad results against Liask, Rangers twice and Ferencvaros. Full new coaching team and manager required now.

amirmir1w ago

It's poor. Shambolic in Europe. And beating Killie and Dundee shouldn't get you a higher grade.

Shambles

pauldshapero1w ago

No planning, random signings. Clueless! Antiquated regime with minority shareholder calling the shots amidst incompetent lapdog accountants counting the beans. Ruined a good man in Martin O'Neil. Sold him.out completely. Disgusting!

jim_bt1w ago

P00r. Resting on laurels for too long. Relying on Calmac & James’s far too mich

djdocherty571w ago

No more than a C disappointing

callum_boyle1w ago

A C at most. Top of the league but lost every single big match this season, squad looks all over the place and only two new signings have made any sort of impact
