How do you now feel about Celtic's decision to let Stephen Welsh leave?! 🤔
He impressed on his Scotland debut 💪

Typical from our useless board, but apparently MON didn't fancy him😱😱😱

Welsh was simply not good enough. I’ve no idea why we keep coming back to this.

He was a good servant but obviously was losing faith when he had a good season a few years back and they then brought in garbage to replace him happens all the time with academy players they leave celtic and get games like calum on loan and scales on loan and Christie on loan some come back improved some just keep getting farmed back out but good luck

The problem for Welsh and other players who have left Celtic like him is that he couldn’t handle the pressure of winning every week. That’s why he’s shining where he is

He's better than Murray, and better on the ball than most Celtic defenders. For him, it has certainly worked out!

We can’t just be revisionist about it all the time. He hadn’t kicked a ball for ages in a Celtic shirt and everyone said he wasn’t good enough to play for us. We should’ve replaced CCV and or Scales but he wasn’t the answer. Maybe if Askou had come in but he didn’t and we should just be happy for him that he’s moved on
