What are your expectations for Shea Lacey next season?
If he can stay fit surely he gets plenty of minutes...🤔

He should be used in Cup competitions, interspersed with a few cameos in the 1st team.

Realistically he’s still going to be on the fringe of the first team squad, but I think he could thrive in cup competitions and as a late substitute

Watched him twice, once for u21's. He was brilliant, and in those short appearances from the bench as PL sub, he lit up OT

Hopefully he plays a part against Brighton this weekend!

During Fergie era, the team killed games early with goals and thus the opportunities were given to youth players. Hope next season will be likewise.

Lacey is just too good for the academy, n next season is his for taking

In theory, we’ll have about 10 more games to play next year, so plenty of chances for rotation

I feel he'll be playing in cup matches which is fine. No need to rush him. He's a top player in the making

Big time first team player

Regular first team player

He should be playing in first team next year. That is why we traing our youth right and we will save a lot of money by not buying someone with the same talent
dantowen819515mo ago
He certainly didn’t look overawed in that Burnley match. Still can’t believe he got robbed of that winner when he hit the bar

If your good enough, your old enough.

The lad deserves his chance. Amad especially looks tired and almost as if the individual skills have been trained out of him. Just plays it safe. Playing Lacey might be the wake-up call Amad and Mbuemo need. Not sure they've recovered from AFCON

The lad has tremendous talent. Bruno has coached him as part of doing his badges. Feels like a no-brainer to get him on the field with Bruno.

I hope we can get more opportunities for the young players next season. We have great academies, and the boys will hopefully get the chance to show it next season.

The boy is ready for the first team

Great player, but United need to keep his feet firmly on the ground. The last thing we need is one great season in the first team and then his ego being as big as Garnacho's.
muteuraj5mo ago
Shea Lacy will be undropable next season watch out for the youngster
dale.odonnell6mo ago
Definitely some cameos off the bench in the Premier League (hopefully Champions League too), but also some starts in the Carabao Cup too.
jonny6mo ago
Definitely some level of first-team involvement... can even see him as first-choice if Amad doesn't find the form he showed in 2024/25
