Where does John Souttar rank among the best defenders in the Scottish Premiership?
He was handed a new Rangers contract earlier this year.

Great defender lacks pace but good at goal area defen̈ce strong physical presence.

We should never have given him another contract extension. He does throw his all at the opposition but makes far far too many mistakes imho. Rangers need better!!

Depends on the system/oppistion. Dependable when he has to win headers and defend deep, but exposed in a high line. For that, he goes top 20

Fair point, mate. I feel he has downgraded since his move to Ibrox. Hopefully gets some confidence at the World Cup and comes back a better player next season

He's one of the best in Scotland but sadly that doesn't say an awful lot

You mean the Scotland national team or the league in general? I don't see him being in the top 10 of all defenders, including full-backs, in the league

I would have said top 10 a year or two ago, but I think he barely makes the top 20 now. Do not see him ever becoming a first-team regular at Rangers again.
