Should Rob Edwards still be Wolves' manager for the start of 2026/27 season? 🤔
If not, let us know in the comments who the club should look to replace him with...

I am thoroughly fed up with the way Jorge Mendes is always pulling the strings at Wolves s to fix up his Portuguese mates with jobs. He has been doing this ever since the Fosun takeover. Enough is enough. Wolves was a poisoned chalice when Rob Edwards arrived, but he sacrificed a lot to take on a hopeless task. He deserved better than this.

After recent poor signings it is HOBBS & CO who should go.

I’m really shocked by this decision. We were pretty much relegated when he joined Wolves. What was everyone expecting? Many players lost interest in playing for the shirt, and I’m sure lots of them didn’t want to be part of a rebuild and in the Championship. I was really looking forward to this season in the Championship with Edwards at the helm.

Baffling. I have been so excited the last 2-3 weeks with all of the positive developments but now we’re tethered to Mendes. There’s one person who’s set to do well out of this. Mendes.

Definitely, what's the point of bringing in a manager who has zero experience of English football?

Poor manager, inexperienced! We had a few decent results with him but overall we are a poor team with nothing to look forward to. Edwards constantly made poor substitutions and team selections. I think he thinks he's better than he is. Just not keen on him.

Been a real struggle for him so far and he’s made a lot of mistakes and poor decisions. Does come across a bit arrogant sometimes too which is annoying. I think he surely does better in the Champ though, hopefully he’ll have a carefully constructed squad to work with. He did inherit a total mess

Yes. Give him the start of the season. He was brought in to build for the Championship. Has to start quickly though or has to go in eight games

No others would like the job working with fosun

I can’t imagine there’d be a lot of clamour if the manager post became vacant…

Staying at West Ham now! Good news for them

RE accepted what he had on take over. Some of those had no personal interest in WWFC other than furthering their careers. That's ok but they haven't performed. Nor will they now we're down. Give Rob a break, sell the chaff and get players who want to have pride in the shirt.
tom.procter4mo ago
He's made mistakes, but he's been up against it from the moment he walked in. As you suggest, he cares about the club far more than most who came before him. Let's judge him in the Championship after hopefully a productive summer
stuartbruin454mo ago
He has the club at heart.
freddie4mo ago
Might as well give him a chance in the Champ, got a good track record
brockfly10664mo ago
No 👎 he is out of his depth he didn't sign the players but his selection and subs were Sunday league stuff at best .always looking to blame someone else a good manager would of dropped the the ones that were not turning up and played the kids the fans would of understood but he was not good enough to do even that 🤔 .
geoffwakelam4mo ago
Several kids have been given the chance. Only Mane was ready to accept it. With a good pre season, the others might blossom. But to have given kids too much responsibility this season could have ruined them like Fabio. Can you not remember that far back?
freddie4mo ago
He has a track record in the Champ tho!? Who would you want instead
graham0074u4mo ago
Simple. Put Nuno alongside Silva, don't stab him the back like the last time, and get the transfers right.
tom.procter4mo ago
The dream team. Automatic promotion and a Championship points record if we did this 👀

macwolf394mo ago
Will waste 4 months if we give him to Xmas. Send him packing along with the players. Go all out for a great manager and give him a blank canvas to weave his magic. That should appeal to the right man for the job.
tom.procter4mo ago
Not saying Edwards has had a good spell so far but he did inherit a woeful squad. Not reckon it’s worth seeing what he can do off the back of a rebuild? He was appointed with the Championship in mind
nuttingj334mo ago
It's all about rebuilding for life in the championship and if what we have read that Fosun will support Rob Edwards in the transfer window then let him get on with the job. In Fosun do we trust. Only time will tell
tom.procter4mo ago
Yeah think you're right, let's see what he can do. Has been a turbulent tenure so far but I do want it to work out for him. That said, think he could do with a good start. Let's hope his superiors set him up well for the season ahead
johnhowes13484mo ago
Yes for the first 8 games and if it's not working out sack him
tom.procter4mo ago
Yeah agree John. He was appointed with the Championship in mind so seems silly to get rid now. As you suggest though he needs a strong start! Do you back us to get promoted first time of asking?
