Rangers have signed FOURTEEN new players this summer!
What have you made of the arrivals?
jamesmcgarvie.871w ago
A good mixture and the players we had to suffer are leaving or gone.
duncan.wolohan3w ago
The new squad started badly but now starting to flow as a team hopefully they push on and and improve even more by Sunday and the following weekend
pranav.shahaney3w ago
What would your eleven be on Sunday?
dakir.thanveer3w ago
I think B is fair, but wouldn't be against upgrading it to an A in a few weeks time if Kelsy and Bouanani hit the ground running. Another centre-back would have made the window Great/Amazing, I think
colinhartley403w ago
B
pranav.shahaney3w ago
Who have you most been pleased with?
bigtinylol51.dd4w ago
The defence is absolutely garbage wee missed a lot of chances not good enough then players should look at them selfs in mirror in say how much I'm i getting payed for that type of performance I've seen young kids in the play ground playing better
pranav.shahaney3w ago
Think it’s a tad harsh to call this defence garbage
pranav.shahaney3w ago
Apart from Fernandez who else from the defence has let you down? I’ve been really pleased with what Makhanya has brought to the table. McCrorie and Penrice are showing promise as well
earle.kenny14w ago
Okay
jjamieson19624w ago
Raskin just dosent look intrested wish he would just go boys head is elsewere. Be happy see him leave teams better off without him!!
pranav.shahaney4w ago
And then if he wants to leave in January he leaves in January
pranav.shahaney4w ago
He’s accepted for now that he’s staying put at Ibrox. I think it’s best to give him game time and help him re-adapt
tammalcolm074w ago
They just need time to gel
pranav.shahaney3w ago
Who are you most looking forward to watching?
marlinsteven19624w ago
Too early to judge except for dan neil should never have been signed
pranav.shahaney4w ago
Agreed. So many better options out there
brysonhunter794w ago
I would rather have spent good money on six proven top class players hope I am wrong time will tell . Coaching bring in Steven Davies to assist Derek badly required keep Allan McGregor.
ajack12619634w ago
Totally agree, I thought myself it would have been better to spend the money on two experience defender, two experienced midfielders and two strikers.
pranav.shahaney4w ago
There have been 6-7 players who strengthen last season’s best eleven, don’t you think?
colinhartley404w ago
B for me and that's being kind
pranav.shahaney4w ago
Yeah I can see arguments for B and C. Can’t understand the A and D ones however
ralphyboy584w ago
We need a dominant midfield player , someone who can direct play a la Barry or Souness . . It's a young team and it needs a dominant character , at present there is no Captain worthy of the name - in deed or in actions
robertdelussey4w ago
Your right that's where Lewis Ferguson would have been a great signing.I think Raskin staying will be a good thing.
pranav.shahaney4w ago
Raskin staying certainly helps. Who do you think should partner him in midfield? Dragojevic would be my pick
tjnzz2yjjv4w ago
Think done great to get so many in, unfortunately not enough defensive players plus I am not keen on this loan to buy crap, so say the end of the season is approaching and said loan to buy players breaks a leg or a bad injury do you get to send him back or are you then forced to keep him and pay whatever amount of millions was agreed?
pranav.shahaney4w ago
Bouanani would not have been affordable to buy permanently and he could be Rangers’ best player this season
audrey_midd544w ago
Somewhat crazy
pranav.shahaney4w ago
I’m excited to see how the team fares in attack
jmd10494w ago
The defence is still a shambles Yes he’s strengthening the forward line but now you have to score at least 3 goals a game because were seen how that present defence looses goal. A quality centre / have was needed. Can’t believe we didn’t sign one
pranav.shahaney4w ago
I think with Makhanya and Godfrey at centre-back, it will be more organised at the back. Soon Nedeljkovic and Penrice will adapt as well. Penrice already looks mighty good
robertdelussey4w ago
Got to go an A hopefully gel quick it took its time getting there but fingers crossed next three home games if we win them were on the up.
pranav.shahaney4w ago
Wow I think that’s the first A I’ve seen. You’re a true optimist
226kenny4w ago
Rebuild is good, need to give Derek time to gell everyone together and and make us great again. There is one player that does not belong there. Fernadez. Big lazy 😴 man. Strolls about passes the ball with one tap back wards all the time. Loses out to much and has cost us possession and as a Defender he is Dire. Need to get him away ASAP
pranav.shahaney4w ago
I cannot believe he was rated at £30m 😂 I’d be surprised if anyone pays over £5m for him currently
jim.donnet4w ago
Of the ones I've seen not to sure there is much if any improvement on what was there last year or the year before and as for Cavenagh's Scottish promise we seem desperate to send the out the door
pranav.shahaney4w ago
Many of the signings are yet to adapt. Two, who I think are the best of the lot, have not even made their debuts. Shankland, Makhanya are already showing you how good they are
marcrichards220319784w ago
I'll give rangers a c or d they have just signed anyone and everyone 14 players is going to be hard to get them to gel for a good few weeks
pranav.shahaney4w ago
D is a bit harsh. There’s definitely been quality arriving through the door. Don’t you think the team’s better than they were last season?
d_clark64w ago
Too early to assess all of them but disappointed that Barron ha been sent on loan and is Souttar still at Ibrox
pranav.shahaney4w ago
Some signings have really impressed me. Obviously will take them time to adapt but I’m going with a B minus
dantowen819514w ago
I’ll give it a C - the defence i still don’t like but the attack should be much, much stronger. Some big swings and big statements
pranav.shahaney4w ago
Yeah I think C is fair or like a B minus. They’ve brought in quantity surely and some of those are good but I think they could have done a lot better. If Minsu, Kelsy and Bouanani all do well, it could be a legitimate title charge
