Liverpool did the same in 2014/15 before sacking Rodgers as well, which could definitely happen here too. Sean O’Driscoll and Gary McAllister never got a proper shot!

What about this past season would lead anyone to believe that this group of players with this manager are going to challenge for any trophies?!? They only play hard for 15-25 minutes a match, don't bother fighting to win the ball back, defensively soft and cannot keep possession against quality sides. I think we finish between 5th to 8th next season.

To be fair we did win it last season with a good chunk of the same players. Let’s see which season was the anomaly. But with Pep gone and United/Chelsea also with new managers, there is a chance for us if we can get back to our previous selves. We need to be perfect this summer, but with the right additions you never know. Things can change so quickly

I don't think that's massively fair, he was praised loads for his tactics last season, mainly recognising where things weren't going well and changing it in-game. Who is better than him realistically out there right now?

I don't think so! Slot I feel anyway is out of his depth both in the premiere League and at a big club like Liverpool. He doesn't have a clue how to change things up. Game play is dull with no pace and substitutions are always like for like.. He is so predictable

The decline has been ongoing since March last year, there's a handful of games left and I still don't see what he's done to turn anything around. Injuries aside everything just feels so flat. Think a lot will depend on Isak coming good and who replaces Salah

It all depends on the recruitment this summer. If we get it right I don’t see why we can’t come back, even with Slot in charge. There is still a chance this season could be the anomaly. That being said, if we’re falling away by October time, I think he’ll go anyway
