Who was our worst performer in the second leg vs Aston Villa?
The home side ran riot in the second half.

Don't blow this up too much. Forest had one day's less recuperation time after playing 3 games in seven days with at least 10 first team regulars either not fit or not registered thanks to Sean Dyche. Emery had the luxury of resting almost his entire first team in his surrender of 3 points to Tottenham on the weekend, which West Ham fans are thrilled about.

Forest had the extra day rest leading up to the first leg. Villa also had two starting midfielders missing, including playing a CB in midfield. Emery rested players v Spurs, just like Vitor did against Chelsea.

Agreed but doesn't take away from the performance in terms of defensive issues. Just had to be solid really yet the backline was all over the place and making schoolboy errors. Didn't help that there was nothing in attack, granted

I was at Villa Park, I think every Forest player struggled with what Villa were throwing at them, so you could pick any player on the list. Saying that, the Forest manager didn't help, either...

I think the manager's hands were tied. Had we had Netz and Awoniyi registered we'd have had essentially the same team that played at Chelsea with some subs. Unbalanced squad cost us a chance to compete

Milenkovic on the penalty that was just brain-dead, yes it's soft but if you grab the shirt it's always gonna be a pen

I questioned the offside flag that went up for Wood’s one-on-one opportunity before his substitution. Regardless of that, that was an awful opportunity to waste. VAR could’ve easily called on it onside had he put it away.

Simply had to score! Everyone was poor but a goal there really could have changed things
