Nottingham Forest want to sign Man City midfielder Tijjani Reijnders 😮

Thoughts Forest fans?

Absolutely, I think we should go in a tad lower around £50M not 55. He will slot straight in the starting 11 and is full of quality! This shows our intent and will send us to a European spot if we get him , Diomande, Poku, Read and Delap. Time for EM to splash the cash!

Nothing special

It would be great! I've watched him play at ManCity and I always wondered why he didn't get more time. He's fast, he's got good technique, pretty smart at passing and good shooting power. Yes, he's older than Bergvall, but not all signings should be about investments for the future. We want to qualify for Europe again this year.

Would be a great signing

GO FULL ON 100PER CENT WHAT A PLAYER

Great player and amazing signing for sure but i think we also need a younger and talented player for the future, reijnders is 28 already.

I think i would rather Kocacic from Man City, better with the ball, has the ability ti control games, much better than Reijnders for half the price

rtmanxp2mo ago

Kovacic football is almost done but reijnders can easily play for more 3 or 4 years

The data doesn't show he's much better with the ball, Reijnders adds goals from midfield - something Anderson didn't - and is five years younger and less injury prone than Kovacic.

We all know why. Part of the Anderson deal. But when Chelsea and Villa did this with Rogers/Garnacho, it was deemed terrorism!

Fantastic player no doubt about it, but not sure he’s worth pushing the boat out to play in a Glasner system. His midfield two often sit and hold as wing-backs and wide No.10s do the attacking so this money could probably be better spent elsewhere

It hasn’t worked out for him at City due to not really fitting the style. Great ball carrier and ideal for transitions, but City don’t tend to have such moments in games very often. He was also wasteful in front of goal at times. But I think he’d be a far, far better fit at Forest and would shine under Glasner

Love this. Reijnders always felt like an awkward fit at City. He’s at his best when he can carry the ball over long distances, which I think means he suits a more transitional style of football rather than heavy possession like at City

Would be an absolute WOW signing, no doubt in his talent but can't see man city selling as a result of that

5 Prem starts in 2026, think City be more than happy to get their money back for him don’t think he’s been that good

johnverrall112mo ago

Would be a fantastic signing for Glasner’s system. If it can be done for around a third of a price of Anderson, Forest win that deal

Oh my word what a signing that would be
