It would make zero sense in any shape to release one of the best LW in the league.

If Marcus is back with the right attitude then he will be a great addition.

This all depends on his attitude when he returns. Only 100% commitment to the squad and team will be acceptable. The squad are solid and united at the moment. One bad apple can mess everything up!

Cancelling contracts is difficult. United would effectively have to pay up the rest of his wages in full, so that would probably be £30m over two years. If we are paying that anyway - it’s better to keep him and at least try and get something back

What happened with Ronaldo shows that it can be done. But I don’t think Rashford - or his advisors- would walk away from that money. Unlike Ronaldo who got a huge salary elsewhere, Rashford won’t get the wages United are paying him
