It's good for both United and Rashford to amicably discuss and reunite. Am still concerned about depth in the team for a gruelling season and in case of injuries. I also think Amorim's presence escalated issues and it wouldn't have been so bad. Sometimes players are just at the mercy of coaches. Carrick, being level minded, should be able to manage him.

As I said previously Barcelona just wanted Rashford on the cheap even trying to lower the price. He has been gazumped by them signing Gordon so now he is surplus to requirements after playing very well for them. I would do a player swap deal with a premier league team, but realistically will he want to play for United again I doubt it?

I'm not sure, but I think he should now realise that he was just used, and that Barcelona had no serious intention of signing him permanently in the first place. Personally, if I were Rashford, this would be a serious blow, when you realise that you have become a rotation player, and only as a temporary solution. What if he comes back? Where will he go?
