Is this a little harsh on Marcus Rashford? Do you feel the same way?
christophermalgas811mo ago
Most people who comment here are Rashford haters.Under a supportive coach,he gives his best.Special players need coaches who understand them and they usually reward the coach. One thing you cannot take away from him is that he is damn good.

He will redeem himself when he does his best to knock out Barça from the Champion League when we face them.

He desreved what he got. Fine he has a good charity org but man u is the origin. Any river that forgets it's source runs dry. No place can a player will be loved less except in his playing field🤓🤓

This is honestly ridiculous. ‘Fans’ like this are probably a major reason why Rashford declined in the first place - no place for this at old Trafford

Ha...looks like he got what he did on United & us Fans & his lazy/cheating ways should never grace O.T. again as he could f gone for £ lots but down graded the Club & not only is he the modern Pogba but he was reduced our t/fees available that we could of put towards buying in that maraculus centre mid we need to raise our m/f& hope gets a t/f away from us

Glad he is back, if just those negative media, Keane and friends,MCan leave him alone

Rashford is one of the best in the world in counterattacking, but also very good at playing against a low block. Add to that he can play anywhere across the front 3, he will be great for us. All he needs is a manager that wants him and Carrick does. He was amazing under Ole and even Ten Hag.
dantowen819512mo ago
Exactly! Plus you wouldn’t think he’d have the pressure of being the main man anymore with Cunha, Mbeumo and Sesko there too! Easy to forget his partners were Garnacho, Hojlund and Antony

Man U fans have this notion that Rashy's attitude is still ssoo bad. How many players flourished under RA❓What was the dressing room like under Ra❓ Rashy did well at Barca, he's in England squad, so don't doubt his ability. MC knows him, so let's welcome Marcus back. 15 goals from him this season and we're on our way to the EPL title.

I think in life, "the grass is greener on the other side". Marcus has now been on the other side, and played for one of the only clubs that have the same kudos as United. Maybe now he is seeing what others have experienced. Most of the time United is the pinnacle. The only way is down, unless you're a generational tallent. Marcus isn't that good !
stephenjholmes13mo ago
Everyone makes mistakes. Marcus would need to prove to all of the squad that he is determined to revive his Utd career. We all love our team, and if Marcus can re capture his past form, and give his all for the team I'm sure he will be welcome back in the fold!

He played really well as a team player at barca

To talk to him, and to make it clear to him that he will be a rotation player. If after that, he says, ok, I want to play for the team, maybe it makes sense to bring him back. No other way.
dantowen819512mo ago
Carrick seems like the sort of guy who’d get through to him! Ten Hag did and he wasn’t exactly the warmest character
winva20023mo ago
I'm far from hating him, but he's far from a legend. Yes, of course, I respect anyone who gives a hack trick against Liverpool. Actually, against anyone. To be clear, I am of the opinion that everything must go on. Both him and United. The only way I can see a return is: To reduce his salary to the level of Kunja, Mbuema... To talk to him, and to make i

Yeah, it really is harsh -- not that I expect it to ever happen.

We tend to forget that this is their livelihoods their JOB. If a new manager is appointed at our work and pushes us out the door and we leave because our morale is down because of said manager , and a new manager is appointed who knows us well and suggests we come back to said company a Would we want others to judge us negatively?
lorcanliz1543mo ago
Don't know what that Muppet is talking about love to see Rashy back and as regards scoring a hat trick against the Scousers bring it on 💪
seanfisher3mo ago
Exactly! Hat-trick against the Scousers wouldn't just get him back in favour, we'd be asking where he wants his statue 😂
stephenjholmes13mo ago
Marcus didn't set the world on fire, but neither did the other 10 players. DRC had a gameplay which was about high intensity pressing. They could never play in that way for 90 minutes. The two wingers coming on reaped the benefit of the previous hard graft. It wouldn't have been different the other way round!
adnan.riaz3mo ago
Yeah, Rashford was nowhere near as bad as people made him out to be. Just social media reactions, as per usual.
grahamhayman23mo ago
Any player who plays in our shirt I'll cheer for
adnan.riaz3mo ago
This is so wholesome to read.
seanfisher3mo ago
I always say, we're called 'supporters' for a reason! Love this ♥️
geldroper3mo ago
I think the whole thing is stupid. We all need achange once in a while. So he left because mainly Armirins dumb coaching. Found his form back and now fans are whining. Not just that. We are spending roughly 12 mill a year on his salary but are willing to spend 45 mill on unproven Summerville plus wages . Sell Rashford next season or renew his contract and ke
adnan.riaz3mo ago
The comment makes it sound like he signed for Man City, won the title with Liverpool and is now back at Man Utd. Haha. It's so OTT.
lorcanliz1543mo ago
Absolutely Rashy was pushed out by Amorin and he could flourish again at Old Trafford with Carrick in charge
jonny3mo ago
Are you serious? What true fan wouldn't cheer for a Carrington graduate, born in Wythenshawe 10 miles down the road scoring a hat trick against the scousers... The hate he gets is so unwarranted, I hope he comes back and affirms his legend status
dancoombs3mo ago
Any United player who scores a hat-trick against Liverpool is a hero to me
vatsal3mo ago
This is not just harsh. This is absolute insanity. Sancho could come back right now and if he scores to win points for Man Utd, I'd cheer that goal. I'll never understand hating a player more than loving the club, let alone having that much hate for Rashford.
