Where should the Carabao Cup sit in Liverpool's list of priorities this season and why? 🤔

carolines.millerr2w ago

Look I'm getting really fed up, of people and critics writing Liverpool and players off all ready, they must consider our team have a new manager also a new style of play also alot of our players need to build back there confidence, , last year nearly half of players lost there's due to management, if thet start playing like last night, we'll do well

Agree, but also think there’s likely to be some poor results thrown in here and there. Last night was much more encouraging though, and for me the only game that made it look as though we aren’t moving in the right direction was Fulham. Those games happen to all teams over a season though

Think Liverpool need to win a trophy this season and the domestic cup only seems likely looking at how things have been so far.

Tbh I'm not sure the team's start suggests they can just sack it off. Iraola needs to get more wins.

Bottommmmm 😭 we need to be focusing on the league and the champions league, simple as that, there can be no arguments otherwise!

Id put It at the bottom for fans, but for Iraola It could really help him foster belief in the Players and at a crucial time in the season. The league is a huge ask i think, but grabbing a trophy and hitting top form for the UCL knockouts and i always back us to go Deep in Europe

Don’t have the depth to go for it properly. Not a priority

james.brooke2w ago

It will always be at the bottom, but I think it will be important for Iraola. He has never won a trophy before and getting the first of the season in would be massive for him. Reality is that our squad is just too thin though, so it can’t be a priority

1. PL 2. UCL 3. FA Cup 4. League Cup Always in that order

markmarston2w ago

Focus on being good over a 38-game season… the UCL will come if everything peaks at the right time

I think a cup of any description should be a big priority. Look at last season, CL qualifcation wasn't enough! Winning the PL or the CL looks like too much of an ask

Massive priority me thinks. Always helps a manager’s camaraderie with fans if he nabs an early trophy.
