Liverpool knock Spurs out of the Carabao Cup - what did you make of that performance?

Great Team Performance 👌 Everyone Stepped up and Played a Part in a Well deserved Win And Even The Tottenham supporters were really Happy Celebrating Their 1st goal of the season lol 😆🤣😆🤣, Nice to see everyone there giving Andy Robertson the respect he deserves YNWA LFC 👌👍👊

Good win. Positive stuff from the goalie and Frimpong, who have been questioned a lot lately. Koumas was good too. It’s always nice when the B team comes in and plays well.

I think Koumas’ performance has been a bit overrated personally. Yes he runs around loads and presses well, but he doesn’t have the quality in possession. I think it’s more an indictment of what we’ve come to expect from the players that simply hassling the opposition defence is seen as a huge achievement

I think Frimpong deserves some praise for that performance, considering how tough a time he’s had since joining

james.brooke2w ago

Definitely looked better, still some wild choices when he’s got the ball though. Zero technical ability

Prediction: if Gakpo doesn't start on Saturday we will see another woeful performance from Isak.

james.brooke2w ago

Don’t think we’ve had a woeful performance from Isak yet to be honest, has looked better. Needs more help

Delighted with the result, but still plenty to improve upon. Can’t believe we let them score!

Can’t belive that Szob goal…Unreal 🔥

Is that Mamardashvili’s coming of age performance? Probably the sharpest I’ve seen him!

james.brooke2w ago

Could be. But still let a bad one in!

Really like the running in behind Koumas offers

Rode our luck at times, but deserved to go through. Spurs are awful. Big night for the goalkeeper, better from Frimpong and a big test passed for Nyoni. Koumas' work rate is absolutely exemplary. Factor in maybe the best goal I've seen live, and it was great night

james.brooke2w ago

Happy with that! Much better overall, defensively and going forward. Kerkez worries me so much though, feels like he is getting worse every game. Other than that good to see Nyoni doing so well and nice to get a few belting goals

david.comerford2w ago

Actually thought Kerkez was good for the first 70 or so then lost his way a bit. I generally like him 1 v 1 defensively, just want him to calm down a bit and offer more going forward
