He has to respect the feelings of his former supporters. One day he may play against Liverpool fc and expect him to respect the club and its supporter's.

After all the nonsense they gave him you couldn’t blame him for going a bit crazy. But I think you’re right, despite what Newcastle fans say he was always respectful towards them publicly, think he would most likely not celebrate. I’m with you as well, I think it’s nice when former LFC players have respect after scoring against us
