You are building Man Utd's midfield for 26/27: Is Kobbie Mainoo a first choice starter?
Or are you signing two NEW starting midfielders?

Everyone hammers Amorim for not playing Kobbie, but conveniently forget that he was injured for quite a while, and when he returned, understandably as a sub, his performances were dire. On the returning form shown, he was never going to replace either Casemiro or Bruno in Amorim's system!

Mainoo will only get better. We have to think long term who is going to replace Bruno.

Had his best performance for ages against Liverpool, he rput himself about and made some great tackles topping it all with the winner. He seems to be slowly getting better but he doesn't need the pressure from people as this could hinder him. Just hope he keeps playing and gets better

Definitely. Goes without saying.

100% starter!

We have to build around Kobbie! The new midfielders must be signed with the intention of complimenting him

Anderson-Baleba-Wharton-Tonali-Tchouameni Who do you think fits best alongside Kobbie?

Just idiotic question to ask. He's a bona-fide TRUE UNITED POTENTIAL LEGENT. Our efforts should always be towards how we help him and make him comfortable at United DEFINITE STATTER ALL SEASONS!

Yes he has quality on the ball and a calmness. He will need a physically strong player alongside him similar to Casemiro to complement him, and then we are in business

I reckon Anderson can do the Casemiro role. He’s an absolute monster out of possession, combined with the box-to-box qualities

To my point of view, Kobbie Mainoo is a extra ordinary player, the fact that he's still a teenager, very young, he can still be trusted as a regular starter if he still continue with his fine form next season, because he has already proven since he was recruited to the first team. He's such a player who can be trusted to build the midfield surrounding him.

It’s a balancing act, he is extraordinarily talented, United need to give him the right support - while not asking him to do too much, eg can he start 50 games next season, probably not, must surround him with real depth and quality to allow a breather when he needs, protect him long term

He should, it’s simple some of our best talents have come from growing up in the ranks, gaining a true understanding of the DNA and what it takes to be a genuine united player

Mainoo will be even better next season with a couple of new players around him. He just needs to add goals and assists to his game and he will be the perfect midfielder.

It shouldn't be a question on wether he starts. If United get in Europe he will get 20 odd games at least even if Anderson or Wharton join
