Should Kobbie Mainoo be in the England squad for the 2026 World Cup?

After recent form, will Thomas Tuchel be convinced?

Of course he should be included, with this kind of performance during the later part of season!!!

Maybe I've been watching different games. Up to now I've not really seen Mainoo do anything other than give the ball away. When he's not under pressure he can successfully pass the ball back to whoever is behind him, but way too many of his attacking passes find the opposition. I'm still waiting (and praying) to see the lad that scored in the FA Cup final.

He nearly never gives the ball away, so maybe you're looking at the wrong player. Or not looking at all?

Yes ,if he'd been in all season, playing the way he is these 3 games, there wouldn't be a doubt. GRRR! to Amorin

He surely deserves to be in the England squad. I trust Tuchel will select him.

No. I want Kobie to be match fit for United's matches.

he would be the calmest and most easy way to play through the field

The one benefit of Amorim's terrible decision on Mainoo is that the lad has had some rest, because he was probably too immediately important for someone so young. Now he's had a break, he's come back flying and should be a shoe in for the national side. Anderson and Wharton may be good players, but they aren't better or performing at this level

He deserves all the minutes in the world cup

Methinks Kobbie has what it takes to make the England's squad to the WC. Imagine been wrongfully sidelined by Ruben Amorim for somehow personal reasons, he just sprung back to basics when Carrick stepped in and see what he's done so far.
