Should Kobbie Mainoo be an automatic starter under Michael Carrick now?
Kobbie Mainoo only needed 90 minutes to prove Ruben Amorim wrong!

Mainoo is playing some great stuff recently but he wasn’t himself against Newcastle. He seemed to be flat footed in this game and allowed Tonali control things from the middle. I hope he gets back to his best in remaining games.

Of course as Casemiro will leave MU at the end of the season.

Not even a question. Everything Amorim said about him was at best wrong and worst a lie because he couldn't understand him. He runs, he sprints more than fast enough, he's strong enough to deal with physical pressure, he is the calmest player on the ball I've seen since Xavi, and his linking with Bruno and the whole team is vital.

Kobbie should always be CONSIDERED if he keeps the level going. In a world cup year, he will want to get his England place back, and he will be giving his all to be there. I am gutted we lost Garnacho because he would have been perfect for the system also.

No doubt about it. And this was in a game where United didn't even have the majority of possession! He'll be even better when they need to break a low block because he's class in small spaces.

Of course if he's fit he should play.
