← Kobbie Mainoo

Is Ruben Amorim not playing Kobbie Mainoo the worst decision you can remember from a recent Man Utd manager?

robdunning417mo ago

He needs a massive improvement to prove Amorim wrong, strength and application is needed from him as he doest commit to tackles

rmanoj87887mo ago

Matches during his tenure were boring to watch. Academy players including Kobbie had no value. Manu must claim back the indemnity paid to him for wrongly doing his job!!!

odhynicho687mo ago

Amorim was a disgrace to say the least. He was completely poor in player management. Look at the number of players he crossed paths with. And more so, he hated home grown and young players! A shameless coach.!

I recall the great Portuguese "tactician" suggest that kobbie is an attacking mid player and can't play the midfield/holding mid position.Well done Ruben, you clearly knew everything. He loved the sound of his voice in interviews @ ot and you can't get a peep out of him now.

mgasparovsky7mo ago

Well, it was pure ignorance not to play Mainoo, but he made lot of other atrocities against the team and club. Worst manager ever

alexkorangacheaw8mo ago

Ruben think is he best than Kobbie on a pitch but Kobbie is master on a pitch

canonmark1218mo ago

He not only make this worst mistake but also for not choosing Lammens soonest as the goalkeeper as we all are aware that MU lost some precious points during those games benching Lammens. Otherwise, MU would have more points now.

vatsal8mo ago

Don't forget that Amorim didn't even want Lammens! He wanted Emi Martinez. I wouldn't be surprised if those first few games he dropped Lammens for was to purely send the board a message!

Adding Kobbie Maybe noo to our first eleven is the best thing that changed all our fortune to positive. Also send Fernandez back to his normal position is the turning point. Manutd management team thanks for sending Amorin away.

Firing Amorim actually saved United money, because it released Mainoo to play alongside Casemiro. Now, United can focus on Casemiro's replacement rather than 2 midfielders. I thank Amorim for the players he brought, but he wasn't suited to be United's permanent manager. I believe on training days he is the coach, on game days he is the manager.

Yes kobbie mainoo is a good player an the way Ruben Amorim treated him was uncalled for

jm6066148mo ago

Whilst ruben was in charge, I vowed to withdraw my subscription from man u, if they had let ruben sacrifice kobbie, for whatever reason he had against playing him, it was a disgrace.

vatsal8mo ago

Probably a lot of fans in the same boat. Watching United just wasn't fun anymore. The feeling was gone. Kobbie was just one factor, but Amorim had largely taken the joy out of the club.

leonporter7808mo ago

Definitely the worst decision as you can see were on the ball more in general & playing in different ways. He's composure helps others around him; Another playmaker on the pitch.

peterhirst558mo ago

Kobbie is pure class, just imagine in 2 or 3 years how good he will be, world class, Amorim's a complete idiot.

mgasparovsky8mo ago

Yes, it was pure ignorance not to play world class talent. Very poor manager, glad we got rid of him.

ritchiebaxter8mo ago

Would you take out fernandez for kobbie? Now the system work for kobbie. That's why kobbie didn't get much game time. Not Amorim is bad manager.

vatsal8mo ago

Imagine had we actually sold him in the summer! Amorim almost did irreparable damage to the club!

christianx_20038mo ago

Yeah it was a very bad decision and Amorim was never going to be a good fit in any case
