JJ Gabriel is now in Barcelona for talks

What is your reaction to this news? Does he have a chance there?

Wherever he goes he will fail. Not due to him but those around him

He won't fail. You can't blame his family for their actions, he has to make the best of what he has got. I do think he would have made it as a United academy player, but we are lagging behind all the big teams (including City)😭. It isn't enough to trade on the United name, when we have become a "bargain basement" option.

Gabriel has a chance anywhere he goes, if he can stop his dad from getting in the way of his career. All the big clubs are in for him ahead of his 16th birthday. Real shame for United.

I really can't blame JJ or his advisors. Seeing what is happening at United, we have become the "Aldi" of football academies. He is worth so much more! I have been saying since the start of the season that Shea needs to be played, and it has taken too long. Our position in the league table isn't lying.

As a United fan, it wouldn't matter to me, as I wouldn't need to visit the food bank if I played for United. The reality though is if you want the best for your child's future, even City look light years ahead.

I think he has a better chance of succeeding at Barcelona than Real, but overall this is just hugely disappointing
