What should Everton be willing to pay to bring back Grealish over the summer? 💰
kevinmcbride6481mo ago
Leave Jack At Man city ..we have a good team ...
joefarndon511mo ago
1000000
diydadx601mo ago
At his age and with his contract in its last year city should be gift wrapping him and sending him on his way. His age recent injury and alledged wages, he is a free
dusters211mo ago
Think he has Age restriction now & would he bounce back from that foot injury, wouldn't wouldn't pay more than 12 million Tops.
tom.procter1mo ago
£12m would be a great deal, feel like City would want more though
diydadx601mo ago
He has to be a free. He is 30+ and will have no sell on value. Nobody knows how well he will have recovered from his injury. He is a risk.
tom.procter1mo ago
Valid points and, as great as it would be, City are not just gonna give him away. I do like to hope it'll be a small-ish fee since we're near the end of the window
richiekodak792mo ago
20 mill max
gramorris2mo ago
His wages are £15m/y that’s the bigger question. Who pays that and how much of a cut does he take from next year
joecachia2mo ago
15 million
anthonymanley19562mo ago
10 to 15 million is a good price for both clubs
stom809902mo ago
£15 mil with 5 add ons if we get Europe would be fair I'd say
tom.procter2mo ago
Think this would be about right. Only fair given he's only got a year left and just lost half a season to injury. Let's see though, City apparently might yet keep him!
cjcjcj19782mo ago
We were better with Jack than without. The second half of the season was definitely not a patch on the first. Yes he's lost some pace but his control, instinct, creativity and strength and 100% worth having for £20-25m
jlk187820102mo ago
15 mill would be fair I reckon, hes 31 lads
tom.procter2mo ago
Be very interesting to see what happens with him. Him only having a year surely means they can't be demanding loads. Hopefully Jack pushes to come back, seems to have genuinely loved it on loan
seanbennett4983mo ago
This deal needs to be prioritised whether its a loan or permanent deal I would prefer the permanent signing of jack on a 4 year deal as dont see personal terms being a issue as think the Jack would take a pay cut to secure the move ( with performance related bonuses inserted ). Everton have placed a concrete offer of £17m + add ons for belenova
richiekodak794mo ago
Send him back, he started off great , but to me he wanted a bit before he got injured. If we were to buy him, I think 15 Mill
mark.marston4mo ago
£15m seems low but your probs right tbf. He's 31 this year...
tom.procter4mo ago
He definitely did dip a bit before he got injured. I don't think we should be breaking the bank to bring him back, but he does provide creativity. I reckon maybe £25m absolute max
bgraneek4mo ago
Grealish does take the pressure off illi but does tend to slow moves down. Hed have to reduce his wages considerably to not upset our wage structure too much.
tom.procter4mo ago
How you reckon we should be offering Man City in terms of a fee?
williamsdave9594mo ago
He brings a bit more balance to the team links up well with KDH but also think he can attract better quality signings in the transfer window
tom.procter4mo ago
Hope you're right, but worry about how the lack of European football could now impact us in the window
neilpurcell34mo ago
Leave well alone.
brogan4mo ago
Not even on another loan, Neil?
bobtaylz645mo ago
I think he should be signed on another loan.Hes not worth £50m or £20.He's starting to lose pace and won't be the player he was before his injury. But he could spur on the younger players
brogan5mo ago
Loan is definitely the ideal scenario. Do think the club will get it done one way or another as Moyes adores him
1960pbrandrick5mo ago
A nominal fee then a percentage for each game he plays that should be how pay his wages to at 31 and with his injury history it would make sense
brogan5mo ago
From what it sounds, we want the exact same deal as we had for him this season. However, it's whether City are willing to write off a potential fee for him with it being his last year
joycestephen0275mo ago
50m
mark.marston5mo ago
No way! He's 31 this year
brogan5mo ago
Surely they can get a deal done for around half of that?
neilpurcell315mo ago
I would much prefer Someone with Summervilles ability over Grealish , the pace of the game goes down when Grealish gets the ball.
mark.marston5mo ago
Totally agree with this... I think if you look at the way the Premier League is moving, it favours far more dynamic and pacey attackers. Grealish is great but maybe not best suited to the league anymore
brogan5mo ago
If we were showing real ambition should be going for both. Let George return to Chelsea and bring in someone like Summerville who Moyes would actually trust
8dr5cc9d9d5mo ago
I luv Jack he is a good lad. Stay at Everton! not sure how much I think Jack will just be happy to stay with us!💙
brogan5mo ago
Like Dave said above, if we could get him on another loan that would be excellent. Such a shame he has been out as he really could have made a difference in this push for Europe
williamsdave9595mo ago
Loan deal for another season then on a free been told already a done deal???
brogan5mo ago
That would be the best possible move. If we can avoid a fee we are laughing
dusters215mo ago
Yes free also no more than 20 mill if we have to pay.
davibush5mo ago
Grealish unlike Salah and Van Dyck has never relied upon speed or strength. He could lose half a yard in pace and still control a game. He walks around half the time and slowing the game down is one of his qualities
brogan5mo ago
This is a really good point actually. Hopefully still has plenty of years ahead of him. Watching Salah against City in the FA Cup was almost uncomfortable given how bad he has become 🤣
davemount175mo ago
Dunno. If we are looking at all these other wingers wheres he onna play?
brogan5mo ago
He'll definitely play. Got to remember to hope is for Europe, which will require a lot of rotation to keep players healthy
williamsdave9595mo ago
Take him on another loan deal see how it goes injury wise if he can stay fit get him on a free
brogan5mo ago
Would be interesting to see how a loan could play out as City will want to make something back from what was a record signing
kevink406mo ago
We want him on a free. City dont want him back and he has every right, to return there and pick up his wages. City, must need him off their books. Its a free for me.
davidconlane6mo ago
No more than 25mill
mark.marston6mo ago
Agreed... think that's the club's feeling too
kevinmcbride6486mo ago
25M not more than that
giftphiri16676mo ago
50m is a bit too much
williamsdave9596mo ago
30 million just sign him
neilpurcell36mo ago
Personally I would leave Grealish alone, I would prefer we went for a more out and out pacey winger, i don’t think he’s the future Everton.
mark.marston6mo ago
I agree tbh... would prefer to see us go for someone with lightning pace... that Schade at Brentford would be class
ronniebooth676mo ago
When are people going to realise that two years of Jack in and around this Club , As no comparison without showing you have Three Ace,s in your hand you play the game at the table, Bloody hell 40 Million for A Nice young kid that doesn't even play, So test these City guys How Much !!!!!!
grantwilliam2816mo ago
I think he's worth 30 but 35 limit because his shirts alone, and his winning mentality drummed into the boys coming through got to be worth the other 5
brogan6mo ago
I just don't see where City's leg to stand on is this summer when it comes to negotiations. They don't want him, one year left on his deal and he's going to turn 31...
ajmiller17th6mo ago
Offer £20 million with max capped at £30 million and obviously going to nearly have to halve his wages. But I would love him back, he still got it, unless this injury has knocked it out of him. He such a nice guy, can't imagine him playing anywhere but Everton now.. Maybe we will get really lucky and he will age like a fine wine.
brogan6mo ago
I would be pushing for closer to the £20/25m. A lot should favour Everton in any negotiations
grantwilliam2817mo ago
His presence zone amongst the young lads coming through be worth 30m alone plus sales problems worth 5m I'd say at least 35m if we can get him this cheap I'd bite their hands off
brogan7mo ago
Still think £35m is a lot considering he's coming off a big injury and will be 31 in September. Obviously compared to Dibling it's cheap, but I don't think City will have much power in negotiations
philljbutler55.pb7mo ago
35million
brogan7mo ago
Bit rich for my liking. Think I'd cap it at £25m like Stu said above^
stuart57mac7mo ago
25m tops
brogan7mo ago
Fully agree with you Stuart
johncambo37mo ago
£35m tops.
mark.marston7mo ago
Even that seems quite high... turns 31 this year
