What concerns do you have about Iliman Ndiaye leaving Everton in the summer?😫
Surely Everton must hand him a new contract!
ejmefc594mo ago
Keep him at Everton he is a class player
brogan4mo ago
Agree but is there a price you'd be ok with selling him for?
ajmiller17th4mo ago
Bloody Hell, what is it with Everton and the elderly, apparently a apparently a free transfer for Solly March is now on cards, he is 32!!!
tom.procter4mo ago
Just because we can, does not mean we should. He served Brighton well but we should be nowhere near this. Just reeks of a lack of ambition. Same goes for Soucek etc
brogan4mo ago
Madness mate - it really is. There's free agent signings that make sense and then there is deals like this
kmm.mace4mo ago
Illi certainly looked a bit jaded in the last few games, but it is also worth noting that every team we played, put 2 or 3 defenders on him every time he got the ball. He was hustled throughout the games. Teams had clearly targetted him as our danger man & treated him accordingly. It happened to Salah in his 2nd season.
brogan4mo ago
100% mate. I think it also comes down to the amount of football he's played. He looked absolutely shattered
ste1986murphy4mo ago
Ideally we need to build the team around him and KDH! Lad has played more football than most with AFCON
brogan4mo ago
Agree with you Ste. Absolutely no reason for him not to have been dropped and rested throughout parts of the season but Moyes unwilling to trust his other options and ran him into the ground
gpsimpson19165mo ago
He's good..But hasn't done much since the Afcon.. If a 60+m bid came in we'd have to think about it.. .Didn't we buy Dibling to play that role
brogan5mo ago
Losing Ndiaye and replacing him with Dibling would be the downgrade of the century, unfortunately. I don't personally think Everton would flinch at a £60m bid (unless player was pushing then that changes a lot)
ajmiller17th7mo ago
Wouldn't let him go for less than £150mil
ptrckbennett7mo ago
A few years ago I would have no worries with contracts etc but look at the Isaac situation... As for a price again look at Isaac so definitely £100m minimum and as for Maguire you've got to be joking! We are an up and coming team and it's time to reject other teams cast offs!
mark.marston7mo ago
Spot on mate. If we're serious about returning this club to Europe, we can't sell Ndiaye at any cost
kevink408mo ago
No concerns at all. He is contracted to us and we dont have to sell.
kevink408mo ago
Absolutely none. We are no longer skint abd dont have to sell. The player is under contract, so the only conversation here, is media speculation.
brogan8mo ago
Player still has years on his deal, but we all know the power they hold now. I'm not too worried about this summer, but if a Champions League club comes knocking then it may be hard for him to ignore...
daniel.owen8mo ago
It's inevitable he would attract interest at some point. I would imagine/hope that we will have planned accordingly
lee.thomas30058mo ago
we're never build a team if just keep selling our best players, meaning why would the likes of Jack and Jarrard won't to stay if we're a selling club. FG came in with funds, are they building the club or just trying to profit from us ?
stewyblue8mo ago
How many more forwards can they have..??Sesko cant even get a game..ridiculous notion
brogan8mo ago
Exactly mate. Has been the place for careers to die over recent years as well
kennethsteed598mo ago
Why sell him you only weaking the team
brogan8mo ago
Absolutely should not be considering selling him. Reality is clubs will come calling sooner or later tho
mikewclayton8mo ago
The whole article is rubbish - There is surely no way Everton would sell their best player in an attempt to gain Harry Maguire. I am sick of reading similar stories day after day. Who is getting paid to spout this crap.
gak13larisa8mo ago
I am
billy.meyers8mo ago
I think the point being made is more, if Ndiaye himself pushes to leave Everton for Man Utd, then getting Maguire and cash out of it represents making the best of a bad situation
anthonymanley19568mo ago
They cant let him go too important to the team hes the standout player
jimstarkcowden8mo ago
The club must make his Everton future secure ASAP. The original match winner.
andymcglynn278mo ago
Keep him here blues
waltonl48mo ago
We need to increase & improve our squad massively, otherwise Iliman will end up somewhere else & that will not be good for us! I really think he has a lot more to give to EFC still, along with other new top players in the next 6 to 18 months! months!!
ptrckbennett8mo ago
Given his displays in AFCON and his time with us it's inevitable that he is and will be attracting huge interest from bigger and brighter sides so I really hope (probably in vain) that we can get a new contract in place soon but we don't seem to be in any hurry to do anything positive of late and are missing out on everything during this window 😡
chriskuhlman38mo ago
Im sure he already got a contract until 29/30.
andymcglynn279mo ago
Just keep him here blues he's a good player
daniel.owen9mo ago
Interest is inevitable, that is just the way of it given the financial gulfs of football these days. The trick is to demand top dollar and have a top replacement lined up
