What do you miss most about Goodison Park after months in the Hill Dickinson Stadium? 🥺
The new stadium has surpassed all expectations so far 🔥

Giving up my forever blue + as I can watch every game, home and away on the telly, in comfort and without all the hassle after the game.
brogan5mo ago
Seems like there was even more hassle with the trains last night. Do not envy the trip home after a late kick off

Love the atmosphere once I get into ground. Love my seat etc. but cannot manage the “scrum” not only to get out but also to get in! Getting home for me via Sandhills station is a nightmare! Especially night matches and yesterday the trains were only every half hour ! (Not Everton’s fault) but I just can’t stand the crush and panic creeps in. 😭

EA. Were getting rip off at this new stadium. And the tickets prices are disgusting. There priceing themselves out. And it's not the people club anymore.. and these new owners are ripping us off and butting more money into roma. Sorry let's get back to paper tickets. Sorry my opinion i prefer goodison park. Easy to get into the stadium and easily to get out
brogan5mo ago
Think they have to be careful. You do not want to flush out the proper fans and end up with a stadium full of day trippers just there to see the new stadium. The atmosphere would quickly turn
williamsdave9595mo ago
Digital ticketing is a rule introduced by the premier league and not the clubs was actually told this by Everton themselves
brogan5mo ago
Have to feel for the elderly people who have to go through the trouble of applying for printed tickets
carolsmith936mo ago
Ten minute walk from were we parked by the pub and benefitted from £3.50 pints ps the pub has shut down I feel like I’m getting ripped off now
dusters216mo ago
Digital tickets is a farce I transfered a ticket to my friend but he realised later he could not attend so he asked Everton to re sell it but they said because he had accepted it they could not sell it on , Digital is a mess.
brogan6mo ago
That is an absolute joke. Long live the days of paper tickets
jasred636mo ago
Parking , no 3pm Saturday games and not being able to give your ticket to friends or relatives.
brogan6mo ago
The lack of 3pm games has been a massive issue this season!
ronnienwilliams6mo ago
I miss the Goodson of 60 to 70 thousand on the terraces I don’t miss the Goodson of 39000 seats!
brogan6mo ago
Those would have been the days! 🤩
barbaramurray19676mo ago
Sorry i miss goodison park.

Unfortunately GP just wasn't generating enough cash. HDS earns us around £40m in additional revenue every season. It's sad that success on the pitch is now largely based off the commercial success of the club
barbaramurray19676mo ago
Easy to get to easy to get out..availability to get tickets for home games. No walking miles to get into town. Easy to get to you coaches and taxi and walking home. And easy to get to your car by pireroad. To the car park.
brogan6mo ago
The transport is by far the biggest issue and that will not be an easy fix

Paying Cash. And reasonably prices

Walking up Spellow Lane, turn into Goodison Road and then EVERTON hits you-the smell of hotdogs in last months grease and smell of hotdogs horse muck!!!! NSNO
dusters217mo ago
What does NSNO mean ?
nothingbutthebestltd7mo ago
The atmosphere, shaking, and not getting ripped off at the Winslow, etc, for a Guinness. Oh, and chips & curry from the Gwladys street chippy! The things you don't realise you have until it's gone.
williamsdave9597mo ago
Playing at 3pm on a Saturday forgotten what it's actually like ?
brogan7mo ago
To think Everton aren't even in Europe (which usually stops teams playing on Saturdays) and we've had just two 3pm kick offs at the new stadium. It's crazy
dusters217mo ago
I miss going through the turnstile in Bullns road , getting chips for £3 with gravy in Gladys street. Also the atmosphere of the old Lady & the fans . As for the food & drink at the Hill they can keep it I didn't get OLD just to give the Owners my Savings . As for these night games 1 after another it must be horrible for people who work.
brogan7mo ago
The days of cheap days out to the footy are longggg gone! I genuinely think football clubs are at risk of pricing people out with the cost of living. The night games have been an absolute joke. Transport may not be great but it's made 100X worse when you're trying to rush home for work/school
del_kath7mo ago
Well, the most glaring difference is access either by public transport or by private transport, the total lack of parking possibilities. Having attended a few games, there also seems to be a lack of atmosphere, despite having ostensibly larger attendance. That possibly stems from team selections, not inspiring and even later substitutions.
brogan7mo ago
I think it's a bit of everything atm regarding atmosphere. Fans can only give so much when the performances have been as dire as they have been.
barbaramurray19677mo ago
MASorry i miss goodison park compleaty. I stood on the gladyes street end when I was a child..and it's so hard to get tickets for this new stadium. But what enjoys me this that you see all these empty seats in the new stadium. And when you try to buy home tickets you can't.
kmm.mace7mo ago
EVERYTHING. I miss being able to drive, park & walk to Goodison. I miss sitting with the people I sat with in the upper bullens. I miss being able to add to the Goodison noise by stamping my feet on the wooden floor. I miss that the away fans had a small section of the ground & I couldn't hear them. I even miss the terrible ladies loos! So EVERYTHING!
brogan7mo ago
Could not put it better. There's so much magic lost in leaving old stadiums like GP but it all comes down to money. Look at some of the grounds the Premier League has lost like White Hart Lane because clubs are pushing for every penny they can get
kevinmrpeters8mo ago
Knowing that there is game going on whilst in the concourse! Have the sound proofed the concourse walls and ceiling?! And switch the annoying music off!
williamsdave9597mo ago
The big one for me is the goodish atmosphere no better stadium than goodison park when it was rocking
goodisonforever9mo ago
Sitting with guys Ive sat with for over 20 years , the tenure rules split everyone up to the extent ive not seen anyone since GP
brogan9mo ago
This is such a shame!
davidcharles18789mo ago
I miss going through the turnstiles with a season card , instead of a phone, I hate all this getting searched nonsense, also I hate the way the club fleeces us with the ale and food prices.
brogan9mo ago
Long gone are those days and paper tickets will now be an artefact
