Hearts fans, give us your initial reaction as Wouter Vrancken looks set to become the new manager 👀
He finished third in the Belgian Pro League with Sint-Triuden last season

It’s a fairly impressive win rate. His football has been described as ‘organised chaos’ so it should be exiting

To overthrow the big boys you probably have to think outside the box a bit with your managerial appointments & recruitment. Tony Bloom has established a well-oiled scouting network at Brighton & he’s plucked some excellent managers in De Zerbi and Huztlzer from overseas, so I would not be suprised if Vrancken is another hidden gem.

I was waiting for this to happen tbf. I think even if McInnes hadn’t gone to Rangers, he was always going to be a stop-gap to stabilise before Bloom made a move like this. They’ve already made five signings so will be interested to see if he adds to it

As a Celtic fan there is a level of the unknown here but seeing he took a relatively small side to third in the Belgian Pro League is no mean feat. His record is impressive and with the way Tony Bloom operates, I think he can give him the tools to make this Hearts side a force to be reckoned with
