Was it a mistake to let Dominic Calvert-Lewin go? 🤔
The former Everton striker is on fire at Leeds! 🔥

Nope!! He was never consistent enough, he would start season pretty great but then produce next to nothing for rest of the term

Real purple patch striker. Missed an absolute sitter for England too

No it wasn’t. Any player who thinks they are bigger than the club should go! Calvin-Lewin wanted even more money than the wages he was getting. So he wasn’t playing for us like he was before. His game was 💩.

No, he needs a fresh air. Good luck to him.

It was an.achiemennt to get him on the pitch didnt want to know..

I wouldn't be surprised if his run of form at Leeds comes to an end through injury soon

Yes it was but did he want to stay everton looked after him throgh his injuries but seemed like he cudnt wait to get out the door

It could all look very different if his run of form is typically ended due to one of his usual injuries

I think it was a mistake to let him go but I think he was holding the club to ransom so in hindsight it was the best thing to do

Wonder whether we could have got this side out of him as well. Look at the goals he’s scored… we haven’t been putting in crosses like that for Barry

I think it was right for both parties. DCL had gone stale and needed a fresh start. Our problem is we create very little and can barely cross a ball. Any striker would struggle playing upfront by themselves in this team.

Easy now with hindsight, but yeah, should have been kept on

Absolutely right decision to get rid, figures say it all, hopeless one on one, still the same at Leeds. 9 years since we last had a striker, shameful.

100%, as even with the injuries he's 5x the player Beto is

I think the problem is more our system. Team creates nothing and hasn't for years. One striker up front stood there with zero service. No surprise to see DCL has improved in a diff system with a midfield that can thread a pass and cross a ball
