Discuss: Jones' Liverpool career is CLEARLY coming to an end if he doesn't start vs Brighton

Slot doesn't favour our English players! Simple as. the likes of Elliot and Jones were crucial to klopp's and he liked them because he saw potential in them and gave youth a chance, slot doesn't seem anything, I don't think he knows what potential is.

He'll start this game but his role in the squad is completely fair. Good squad player but not good enough to be starting week in, week out

On the Jay Spearing update on how Slot is developing and nurturing the youth players and bringing thenlm through the only way to prove that is if we see them actually on fhe pitch not the bench.

That's true, but if he doesn't think they are ready then he doesn't think they are ready. It is a more delicate balance than I think people like to admit.

There was 100% a clash between him and Slot behind the scenes, he's been cast aside

Let him leave. Attitude problem and nowhere near as good as he thinks he is! Time to move on. Shouldn't start with a week between games

Seems like he's been really pushed out since those Spurs/Inter rumours started
