Who is the greater F1 driver, Lewis Hamilton or Fernando Alonso?

Lewis Hamilton for me. Easy choice.

Fernando alonso

I think the records speak for themselves and if Alonso was better wouldn't Mercedes had gone for him instead of Hamilton

Would Mercedes have had the power back in 2012 when they convinced Lewis Hamilton to leave McLaren to tempt Fernando Alonso, who was fighting for the title at the time, to leave Ferrari? Had Alonso joined Mercedes in 2013, his stats would also look a lot more impressive compared to Hamilton's.

Let us not forget that it was Fernando who dethroned Michael at peak Michael.

2005 was not a stellar year with the tire rules. 2006 was a legitimate win for Alonso. But then Alonso got his shock when he met Lewis Hamilton at McLaren.

Has to be Lewis

There is no comparison Alonso has won only two titles and upset a lot of people along the way while Hamilton has won seven titles and always had good relationships with his teams

Even when I was working, everything about me was based on visible results that could be measured and not my daily input to what I did day to day The numbers din't lue. For me it's Lewis, what xan ai say.I'm a fan + some the actions of Alonso back in the Mclaren days put me off
