Who is the greater driver Max Verstappen or Michael Schumacher?

@dav.daddy ‘His first championship’ That one hasn’t been chatted about for a while. The one where they decided the whole championship by putting one driver on old hard tyres against another on brand new softs, for a lap.

You've got to be kidding me? This can't be a serious question. Schumacher dominated over in different cars and rulesets. The only knock against him was he got caught cheating a time or two. Max had a good run when the cars rewarded his banzai driving style. The officials handing him his first title evens out Shumi's rule breaking so it's not even close.

Max is the man! But he has not reached Schumacher yet If he stays with Red Bull and F1 fix this mess they got the drivers in well max has the best chance of getting 8 championships

Max is already showing he will quit when things don't go his way. 8, never.

Verstappen will go down as one of the greatest, but he’s a level below Schumacher right now. May be a different story in a few years’ time. For now, Schumacher

With the question being is 'Who is the greater driver' rather than the greatest of all time, my answer is still Schumacher. But the GOAT aspect comes into it because Schumacher was around for longer and showed what he was capable of over a longer period of time. I would have absolutely loved to see these two race each other, that's for sure.
michaelram5mo ago
But you leave out Hamilton's lengthy and winning service?

Max. I have watched both of them and Michael is no match for Max.
fmcgvo665mo ago
That's crazy. Max would tell you that himself

Max every time I never liked Schumaker
michaelram5mo ago
What's love got to do with it?

Max is a brilliant driver but Michael made the car dance just like Senna

Michael Schumacher. Talk to me again if Max hits 7 titles over two teams. Schumacher and Hamilton both spread their 7 titles over two teams. That is impressive in itself.

Has to be Michael. Give it another few years, and I might have a different answer.

Michael Schumacher

Toughest one yet! Verstappen gets the vote over Schumacher, I really think if he sticks around, he will eventually become the GOAT of F1, some might say he already is…

This is really close, but I'm just edging it with Schumacher. Verstappen is an exceptional driver, but what Schumacher achieved, particularly at Ferrari and the impact he had on the sport, cannot be ignored

Michael Schumacher is leagues ahead of Max Verstappen in almost every way.

It's a really tough one, but I'll go with Schumacher simply because we've seen the entirety of his career play out. Max could surpass him when it's all said and done, but as things stand, Schumacher has the bragging rights in my opinion.
