Why would anyone give credence to anything Jolyon Palmer has to say? A mediocre driver who talks the talk but couldn't manage a single win...

Personally, I think Jolyon is a really strong commentator and brings a lot to the table, despite never achieving an F1 win! That Renault was terrible in 2016 and he wasn't that far out of the points in most of 2017!

2018 was probably his best, but 2020 was the moment for me when he showed everyone that he was unbeatable at that point. Everything changed after he won that seventh title

I agree - the level he reached to overwhelm Vettel and Ferrari in the second half of that year was the best I've seen
