What could Moyes have done differently to avoid that late goal? 🫣
philljbutler55.pb5mo ago
I cant understand why we didnt start with Graham up front & Harrison in place of gana gay. Weve nothing to play fir now if you say europe, we need these players in the team for europe!
brogan5mo ago
Still ultimately playing for Europe when it's only a three point gap to sixth. Don't expect to see Graham this season or maybe even next
philljbutler55.pb5mo ago
Soz i am commenting on west ham game
ambrosemccollum555mo ago
Keep going boss you are the greatest they were their usual lucky lucky LiVARpool
mcdonaldgeorge565mo ago
He should know were not cynical in front of goal need strikers that game was there for the taking
brogan5mo ago
That's the frustrating thing with Beto... he's definitely been much improved, but he still leaves goals out there despite getting one at the weekend
tomblair8745mo ago
Don't bring on that waste of space Barry on again in any everton game get rid asap
brogan5mo ago
Done himself no favours with the fan base since the Arsenal debacle
bobbeeez5mo ago
we should have brought barry on as well as beto not instead. barry just does not look like her he is hungry enough. he seldom chases anything down, sometimes he jogs a few steps towards the ball and then slows down when he knows the ball has got away.. no hunger in that guy. he is rubbish for us.. beto did not deserve to be taken off no matter how tired
brogan5mo ago
Beto was taken off because of concerns over a head injury mate. Could see he had an immediate swelling after the clash of heads. Hopefully he’s ok to play this weekend
steob.so15mo ago
rWhy does Moyes keep playing Barry, offers absolutely nothing, and never will offer something. Plays O'Brien, who is no better than a Sunday league player, a poor one at that, who's nearly always out of position. Gana is past it,too slow, offers very little. Substitutions are always too late, needs to play players in their positions for a change.
joe.bromwich5mo ago
ClutteredBrain has as much credibility as Kavanagh, who wants their opinion anyway/
mikewoods465mo ago
Should not have put Barry on waste of space
jeffthewrap5mo ago
Who's the new hot dog seller? I don't know. But he keeps telling everyone he used to play for Everton. What's his name? Thierno somebody.
mohan.everton5mo ago
I differ on Barry issue. Beto was injured. We loss because of Ref, VAR and the jostling at the goal post. It was a dangerous situation. O Brien should have shadowed VD. Now let's hope we can do well in the balance matches. I hate the red monkeys. They always get away.
brogan5mo ago
The problem comes in Barry not being able to get himself up for the biggest game of the season. Moyes must be furious with the way he played
jonathan.gorrie5mo ago
Just weren't brave enough surely? It's a theme with Moyes in big games
moeratanwar685mo ago
Defend properly. They had a goal keeper we put no pressure on them. Should have made substitutes earlier.
brogan5mo ago
Agreed. Playing against their third choice keeper and still did not give him any issues
crysmeth5mo ago
I much rather play Keane to replace Barry. Barry is not cut out for the premier league. He makes Dennis Straq look like Pele.
brogan5mo ago
I know it's joked about a lot, but can you actually see Keane playing up front? He's got an amazing shot, but surely he isn't going to actually offer that much up top? Physical but lacks pace and probably ability to hold the ball up
stevencoppblue5mo ago
The issue for us in this match and all season is our lack of attacking options.
brogan5mo ago
Whether you like him or not, McNeil has played fairly well for the last few weeks (not today) but ultimately those decent/ok performances has returned zero goals or assists. Simply not good enough
origiskaus5mo ago
The loss of Branthwaite cost us the match. It would have been far more sensible to shove O'Brien in the box to counter Van Dyke and replace Barry and Gana with Iroegbunam and Patterson. At that stage we needed some big defenders insted of tiring 37 year old and a "striker" who clearly didn't even know what day it was!
colinwatkinson19615mo ago
Why does he play him at no2 right back absolutely awful game he had he cost us the game & were was dewsbury-hall did he take him off 🤔 there not good so ya can see were we are at tarvoski getting to slow & he shud of had that 6ft 5" koppite just ball watching don't impress me moyes sorry
brogan5mo ago
Why Patterson has not been played this season is beyond me. O'Brien good defensively for the large part but we need more of a consistent attacking threat from the full-back spots
alangaston1785mo ago
the standard of referees here is appalling for what is supposed to be the best league in the world ( now that's a joke )
michaelbrown.ifa5mo ago
yep couldn't see the red shirt he was wesaring even when he didnt book Graves!! hen he should have
brogan5mo ago

phillipsandersonhaigh5mo ago
Kept Beto on, he,s a big lad who muscles up defenders and with a bit of luck could and should have scored two or three today . Also! If the " foul !" on KDH had been the other way round and been Salah in the Everton box,at Anfield , would a penalty been given ??? I think so !!!!!!
calum_jones5mo ago
Clearly a reason he didn’t keep Beto on (the injury) There’s no way Moyes would of brought him off solely for a switch up.
barbaramurray19675mo ago
We lost the game as soon as moyes bought on Barry..and beto went off. We've lost our chances off Europe now why bring on Barry he should had bought George on.
mark.marston5mo ago
I think the Branthwaite injury also played a factor... we lost momentum
michaelbrown.ifa5mo ago
Beto had to come off due to that head knock, perhaps should have played keeno up from until the veru unfortunate injury to Branth?
lawrenceduffy555mo ago
A OT LL He should never have played Mcniel or played O'brien again as full back, Mcniel and Betowhere anonymous in the first half, Ghanas legsgone by the houand Moyes shouldha seen tha t andreplaced him,
brogan5mo ago
Midfielders deffo looked leggy. When Garner is having a poor game you know something is wrong. Tim and Rohl must have been sat there wondering what they need to do
anthonymanley19565mo ago
To many players had an off day pickfords distribution was awful and theres to many old legs out there tarky and keane passed there sell buy date and barry is a joke mcneil was awful even garner had off day but hes allowed one
anthonymanley19565mo ago
Players shud be looking at the flight of the ball instead of wresteling the oppisition
phillipsandersonhaigh5mo ago
Just look at any match nowadays! It,s a wrestling match at corners and refs seem to let it go !!!
brogan5mo ago
We'd dealt so well with them up until that point as well. Really should have had O'Brien on Van Dijk
tonycavendishestates5mo ago
He could have played to win. To lose in that fashion at that moment on tnis day in this game is unforgivable. From kinnear down to the subs today the club needs a clear out. The culture is rotten, survival not success is all they are intereted in.
phillipsandersonhaigh5mo ago
Where did the ref find ELEVEN extra minutes? Was it " fergy time "??? As usual VAR is against EVerton !!!!!
brogan5mo ago
Definitely done when those substitutions were made. Wanted George to start all week and he offered absolutely zilch when he came on
sootysam145mo ago
Dewsbury Hall what a gem nidye brilliant beto every where Barry always said should never been on the pitch never in the right position always daydreaming not for the toffees for me
tom.procter5mo ago
Barry definitely has major work to do if he's gonna make this move work
mark.marston5mo ago
I think Moyes was helpless in that moment. It's a set-piece... soft goal
kierancooke_is5mo ago
Just leave Beto on he was giving VVD and Konate something to think about
phillipsandersonhaigh5mo ago
VVD should have been sent of in the first half for his constant elbowing etc.
brogan5mo ago
Can't risk players when they're struggling with a head injury, mate. Could see he was struggling
scott.shalani5mo ago
The Scottish clown was always going to lose long before kick off ???? Bcos the best points total from top 6 sides is 7 points when it last managed us ? & when the worst centre back in football history comes on well what do you expect, negative clown manager, over paid bang average players, joke run unambitious club appointing that clown was 2 steps back.
michaelbrown.ifa5mo ago
the usual rubbish from you then
phillipsandersonhaigh5mo ago
Shut up! If Moyes hadn't,t taken over last season, we,d be playing championship football, this season we are actually challenging for Europe. If the two forwards had had a bit more luck and scored more the team would be in the top five .
collincollins67245mo ago
Branthwaite clearly never been properly fit and don’t think ever will be , a bit like Woodgate, I’d sell him and put Jake in middle
brogan5mo ago
Well there were concerns about his fitness just the other week. Had to manage his minutes and clearly that has proven costly
tonyhughes4575mo ago
Don't forget to treat those bumps on your head from hitting your ceiling.. again!
brogan5mo ago
It just all felt so inevitable
billy.meyers5mo ago
Think it would have been good to see Moyes be a bit bolder and chuck someone like Dibling on - Liverpool were vulnerable when Woodman had to come on and we did nothing to put pressure on him 😡
brogan5mo ago
If that is all Barry can muster up in a Merseyside Derby then serious conversations need to be had about who replaces Beto if he's not good to go
calum_jones5mo ago
Barry simply wasn’t good enough! Lack of workrate and physicality is something that will get you on the wrong side of Everton fans, especially in a Merseyside Derby
