Were Everton robbed of a penalty on Dewsbury-Hall? 😫
Another Chris Kavanagh decision going against the Blues... 😡

Having seen it, I’d have been unhappy if that was given against us BUT it would have been a certain penalty if that had been Mykolenko on Salah. Still fuming about VVD’s challenge on Idrissa Gueye.

You know fine well it would have been given if it was the other way around. The VVD foul was an absolute disgrace. Tarkowski should have been hounding Kavanagh for that

What Kavanagh meant to say was... No, not giving Everton anything. I never have & I'm not starting now. He also meant to say.. I didn't give Van Dyke a yellow card because I haven't given any Lpool players any cards in the last 3 games I''ve reffd so don't want to start now! Shameful reffing, but nothing new from Kavanagh.

I don't think so, I think a penalty would have been fairly soft. Albeit one of those unlikely to be overturned by VAR

It wasn't a penalty. Watching the footage closer though Jones defo clips him outside the box, should have been a free kick and a potential red card
brogan5mo ago
Think this is a good shout. Won't give him any excuses for some of the other poor decisions though

I was absolutely gutted, disappointed, frustrated, ( all of the above) & angry on my way home from the Derby. I was quiet for the rest of the day & didn't feel any better this morning, as I felt that we were robbed. While we lost the first Derby at the Hill Dixie, I want us to make history by pledging that it will also be the last Derby we lose there. UTFT

What a surprise that No-Mark Clattenburg - he who failed to give the clearest penalty in derby history when Carragher wrestled Lescott to the floor - supports his fellow Masonic crook, Kavanagh, in refusing a clear penalty to Everton. This derby was typical of all others. Everton have to beat not only 11 players of the opposition, but the FOUR OFFICIALS TOO.

What I can't accept about the KDH decision that if it wasn't a foul & therefore not a pen, how then, when later in the game, Jones was trying to play out with Illy pressing him, Jones goes down when Illy barely touched him, yet foul given??? Bu then hello, this is Kavanagh. As soon as I saw him named as the ref, I knew we were up against it. I despise him

When the liverpool goalkeeper dropped the ball the liverpool captain grabbed hold of Barry to stop him getting near the ball that was a penalty Games over now another year we get robbed
ajmiller17th5mo ago
Yes but ref and VAR were anti Everton
tom.procter5mo ago
We were just never ever getting it were we ðŸ˜
wattsdavid7415mo ago
I think it was a penalty for us and it should have been a red card.
tom.procter5mo ago
They totally bottled it. Why would KDH bother going down there if he wasn't taken out
diydadx605mo ago
The fact that VAR didnt even look at it, confirms my belief of the bias towards the toxics.
garytraynor995mo ago
Wouldn't have been overruled but we were never getting anything 50-50 off Cavanagh. Van Dyck not getting punished early doors derby or not set the tone
mark.marston5mo ago
Yep... we've not had decisions all season
phillipsandersonhaigh5mo ago
KDH does not fall with out being fouled . PENALTY! If that had been at Anfield with Salah going down, with the kop yelling, would VAR even bothered ! No contest !!!!!!
brogan5mo ago
Yup. Roles reversed and we know which way the decision goes
anthonymanley19565mo ago
None of them were penalties KDH played for them
brogan5mo ago
Hmmm I think the one against Curtis Jones was a close one. KDH had no reason to go down he was one-on-one with their keeper
robi5mo ago
It wasn't nailed on but there was definite contact. He wouldn't have gone down otherwise. Anywhere else on the pitch and thats probably given
brogan5mo ago
Agreed, but you just know had it been in their favour that whistle would have been blown...
