Everton edge past Ipswich 1-0! Thoughts on that performance?
michaelbrown.ifa1w ago
It was only a poor transfer due to lack of numbers the players we got in are a massive improvement and Balogun has not played at single minute in Monaco due to injury so perhaps it was good he didn’t cpsign?
gramorris1w ago
Norgaard hasn’t yet either! But the Balogun thing is starting to look less like he was upset with Everton and more like he was being pushed out by Monaco and knew he wasn’t fit. All eyes on you when you move for big money and then don’t play

Dibling looks like a younger version of Grealish in this form he has a bright future as a team when we get the passing right we could have a bright future here's hoping
tom.procter1w ago
Can definitely see the similarities. Future is bright, I just hope this will be the turning point now. Encouraging words from Moyes before and after Ipswich win. Bit of a shame for Dibling that the international break is here now though
daviescallum421w ago
Hope he doesn’t get the magic coached out of him
anthonymanley19562w ago
Yet again the passing was poor and gave the ball away to mutch but take the 3 points all day and there was nothing wrong with second goal no keeper was saveing that
tom.procter2w ago
Yeah wasn’t pretty but three points is three points 🙌🏻 yeah the handball decision was a joke. There needs to be some kind of tweak to the rules in these cases where the keeper clearly has no chance of saving it 🤔
tom.procter2w ago
Another case of job done and at the moment that’s all that really matters. Comforting to see how strong the defence is generally looking. The Tarkowski and Branthwaite partnership is getting better by the game 🧱

While chances were missed by a number of players, so we ended up 1-0, it's worth mentioning Arsenal won the PL last season with a plethora of 1-0 wins!! 😅. Still wondering why Charly didn't get a look in today. Only on for about 7 mins v Wolves & boom! Goal. Doin' what many of other players just can't do at the moment.

After a dreadful summer, Moyes deserves immense credit for this start to the season. Fifth and unbeaten heading into the break!
calum_jones2w ago
Absolutely. Great with the squad we have
calum_jones2w ago
Tyrique George amazing when he came on, don’t understand why we didn’t start him
calum_jones2w ago
At the end of the day it’s 3 points. If we played anyone decent today, we’d have been battered
daviescallum422w ago
Hardly convincing, but who cares. Should’ve been 2, and had plenty of chances to add more. Great start to the season!
calum_jones2w ago
Thought Branthwaite and Tarkowski were immense, clearing up everything especially right at the death
daviescallum422w ago
Yep both incredible again, Tarkowski back to his best
brogan2w ago
Thought Jarrad just edged it for me out of the two. Both brilliant but Branthwaite is just special, man
ptrckbennett2w ago
Nerves and deep set frustration!
ptrckbennett2w ago
I'll definitely take that all day long as it's a long way from where I feared we would be this season! Johnson just cannot start again over George who's a different class... really loving Dibbers showing but hope Rohl and that forgotten Norgard or whatever his name is gets back💙💙💙
calum_jones2w ago
Think the VAR decision is a sticky one. Letter of the law it should have been disallowed, from the play that occured absolutely not. Keeper is getting no where near that
daviescallum422w ago
Think it’s a terrible decision personally, letter of the law stinks
ptrckbennett2w ago
Blame the Manc Derby
calum_jones2w ago
Should have never ended with that much nerves.
ptrckbennett2w ago
Way, way, way too pedestrian!! Grealish slowed the game too much especially when they were down to 10 George should have been on much earlier... Dibbers is really starting to shine!!!
kmm.mace2w ago
Yep. Echo my thoughts exactly. No pace & purpose to our movement or passing. I exclude Harrison from that. He tried to drive or pass forward. Other than Harrison, too much 'tippy tappy' benign passing.
