What do you make of Everton reportedly considering Mauro Icardi as a free agent signing? 🤔
The Toffees have a striker shortage after selling Beto and being rejected by Balogun...

We clearly need another striker. My question of Icardi, is why hasn't somebody snapped him up? Why is he a free agent? We don't need a square peg to fill around hole in our squad. We have some emerging talent in the academy. I think, we should give one of those a 20 minute run out. They would be more of an unexpected problem for opposing defences .

We need another striker, its as simple as that. If somebody with his experience was interested in signing. Sign him!

Until the Friedkin Group get some fresh outside investment or sell up, I don't see them wanting to buy or loan a player that wants exuberant wages. I really do think the David Moyes has been instructed to try and make the team work until maybe the next transfer window. But as always UTFT 💙💙

Yeah I agree with this sadly. I’ve been critical of Moyes but I am glad we’ve got him in charge for this period

Yeah I think you’re right tbf. Think they might try to ride it out until Jan, and only try to sign a free agent if one of Barry, Johnson or George gets an injury maybe 🤔
tom.procter3w ago
Well tbf he has scored goals consistently wherever he’s been. Would probs be looking for massive wages though

Needs must... had a good goalscoring record at Galatasaray last season. Think it's a gamble due to his wages but worth it on a one-year deal

As he is currently on no wages perhaps expecting that amount should be staggered and performance related?
gramorris3w ago
Can't see it really. Money talks, maybe a 1yr deal would suit him

Christ 😂💀we’re not that desperate are we? Are we… I’d rather Johnson up top tbh

Alcaraz as a false nine?

Not sure i can see this happening but who knows 🤔

Yes please!! But sadly I think we have as much hope as we have of TFG or Kinnear answering questions! If we even could get him to give up his life style or family situation his wage demands would send the board into instant meltdown!!!🥴💙

As a neutral, please make this happen 💙💙Moyes and Icardi is the odd couple partnership I never knew I needed
