Is Daizen Maeda a Celtic legend?

Different for sure and top contributor, especially against Rannnnnngers. But I don’t think legendary status is appropriate but he will be a big miss….😉🍀

Celtic football club have been blessed with numerous outstanding Footballers who in some way make up for continuous unfair decisions by referees &VAR officials. In last 60 yrs we have been lucky to have Lisbon Lions, Kenny D ,Paul Mc S , Luba, H L& Maeda ,whose work- rate has been renown+ absolute magnificent goal against Scotland’s latest cheating new club

Yesterday Daizen played out of his skin . Wish he can stay at Celtic for another season at least HH

He’s certainly a modern day legend but in terms of all time, he’s probably in that bracket just below for me. Having said that, he’s been one the most exhilarating players to watch in the last few years

I agree. It’s a hard one tbh. He’s been here 5 years now which is a long time for a foreign player, and has contributed a lot to the success in that time. But all time legend? Not so sure.

Legendary status is a matter of opinion I suppose. If he decides to stay I think he'd go on to merit such acclaim.

Oh absolutely, it would be beyond doubt if he had a change of heart and signed a new contract!
