Daizen Maeda: irreplaceable?

How can Celtic move on from him this summer?

I love the wee man, lest we forget his first season he hit row Z rather than hit the target, I hope he is successful, but i really dont think he will be.

His last 12 months and folk think they'd get more than £10m. That's a great deal for all except Maeda, he'll soon find Ipswich in a relegation dogfight. The grass isnt always greener.

bsolutely agree diazen is irreplaceable but we xan improve the rest of the squad so we do t have to rely on 1 individual to pull us out of a mess. Hard to find anyone with the same pace or energy as diazen without having to spend an absolute fortune which we aren't going to do.

SLook, there's no way we're gonna get anyone with the pace of Maeda, no way, but Celtic F.C. have NEVER had to rely on any one player, ever! Even the great Henrik Larsson would have scored the amount of goals he got without the unsung heroes he had around him. There are players out there now and in the future, who will become Celtic heroes.

Irreplaceable,Jota and saracchi down that side might end up a solid attacking pair tho, not looking good for a decent squad tho still scraping away in the bargain basement stalling over half million extra to get a player in,the ones we had "out" on loan will be squad members in a poor team, nearly 3 weeks away from our first preseason game and nothing in .

If Celtic can win trophies post Dembele, Edoaurd and Kyogo, they can do so post Maeda. The only thing that can"t be replaced is his pressing because I never seen anyone like that in a Celtic shirt. The rest can be replaced.

Watt is spot on I think. To sign another gamebreaker like Maeda would be great, but if we want to be more consistent, we need several better attackers
