Job done for Joe Root and England as they cruise to victory against Pakistan to go 1-0 up in the series convincingly 🙌What did you make of Root's captaincy in the first test?

Very happy with that. Drama free (for now) and got the best out of his bowling attack, who were the real winners. Tongue and Robinson brilliant in the first innings and good to see Gus and Jofra chip in too. Solid stuff with the bat too. Much-needed win but got to stay consistent

Root a very level head and both his experience, talent, selflessness and professionalism are what England need to carry them through this transition period
