This was the perfect scenario. He gets on well with Brook and should stay as white ball coach. The red ball team have fallen apart under him and he should’ve gone after the Ashes.

WTF! We have just whitewashed the Indians in the T20. What ridiculous timing! If they had done it after the recent Test series against NZ I could have understood it. I'm not impressed with England's top brass. They are the ones who need sacking.
