CHANGE MY MIND: Conor McGregor is the UFC's greatest legend
'Notorious' took MMA to the next level at the height of his legendary career.

I don't think it's really even debatable. No one has generated more success for the industry than Connor. No single fighter has raised the profile of the sport more than him. He's a household name that people who don't even watch UFC still know who he is. He's Hulk Hogan, he's Stone Cold & The Rock of UFC
jaymercer324w ago
He’s certainly the most notorious in mma history thus far
adnan.riaz3mo ago
Not. A. Chance. At. All.
joshcathey5174w ago
He absolutely is, whether you like it or not.
dugmoogle4mo ago
he's a 2 time (different weight class ) CAHMPION , Thats hard to beat no matter what you think of Conor and millions love him
adnan.riaz3mo ago
It’s a feat, no doubt about it. But as amazing as it is, the rest of his resume doesn’t stack up with others’ records.

This isn't exciting at all. He was interesting as a fighter. Truly really good. A decade ago. Now he is a mouthpiece with no recent wins. He is Jerry Seinfeld that losses a fight after his comedy routine.

Bib is the legend.

The fact that so many people actually answered one of these is telling. There are usually 5 comments on these pages & thats a lot. You can hate him all you like but the guy changed the sport.
dr.cheyno4mo ago
Yeah he got a lot of WWE drama fans to the sport. Now every time one fighter grabs or tries to grapple another, the crowd boos instantly. Changed the sport indeed.
harvey.leonard4mo ago
Yep, it stirs a real debate between competitive achievements and global recognition. Not the most successful fighter of all time but nobody even comes close to how he changed the sport

Your delusional. That is so ridiculous. What does that make ddp.?the goat.no.
raadahmad0365mo ago
Your dead set kidding mate Whats the old bs saying "& Pigs flys " But they did invent Swine flu that travels & flys worldwide .That statement is so untrue bordering Delusional like McCracken's Cracken Na -da im willing to say if your statement has legs then you must be from the Swine family like Swines McNugget & no nothing while insulting true GOAT'S P4

So sick of this dude , biggest weight bully ever, props for being able to cut weight better than other people but he hasn't been above average since they stopped iv rehydration.
mosesrocco75mo ago
I could say a lot of things but I'll just say this: Conor McGregor the 'UFC legend' doesn't know what it's like to walk into the octagon 2nd as the champion. #*champ
harvey.leonard5mo ago
A very good point

I think McGregor is a legend for taking the UFC to new heights of popularity like Liddell did back in the day. No matter how you feel about the man, I think Bones Jones is the greatest fighter the UFC has seen.
azninjamaster7mo ago
Demetrius Johnson is the UFCs greatest. Never popped for steroids, and defended his title 11 times. How quickly everyone forgets. Two words.. suplex armbar. Come on y'all.
harvey.leonard7mo ago
Definitely an underrated contender for GOAT status. But it's just tough when a few others faced better opposition
kyle.dimond7mo ago
I think some have faced a better list of opponents but I'd definitely argue that DJ is the best mixed martial artist in UFC history.

There is no man alive that can beat Mcg in this
dr.cheyno8mo ago
Lol
harvey.leonard8mo ago
Perhaps the most influential. But the word "greatest" seems wrong.
kafkajason4175mo ago
lol Facts Conor McGregor fans are straight delusional right behind ASSpinal fans delusional gane was on his way to purely outclassing him and possibly TKO owing him point blank. He was out classing ASSpinal in those four minutes easy win Pereria smokes gane to set up goat fight with jones the fight to make after is a slam and Topuria
dr.cheyno8mo ago
Spot on
dr.cheyno8mo ago
Not even close
jordan.ellis8mo ago
Who is it then?
kyle.dimond8mo ago
He's the most famous legend, that's for sure. Greatest? No. Longevity matters. He won two belts and didn't defend either.
jamie.theodosi8mo ago
As crazy as it is to say, he probably is. Without him, there's no way the UFC is in the position it is today.
jordan.ellis8mo ago
Haters don't wanna hear it but he's basically MMA's Muhammad Ali. What he's done might never be topped.
oldnhbfreak5mo ago
What has he done in the octagon? He lost to Nate Diaz, for the love of God, he ran away from Diaz. He was rag dolled by Khabib. The only fight were McGregor showed some greatness was against Alvarez. The things Conor was great at was marketing and creating drama.
donaghcorby19978mo ago
I’m not going to try and change your mind - I fully agree!
