If not, who is?

Swaitek has not won a tournament since October 2025. Her swerve and forehand are both suspect. Do not think she is a very confident or consistent player any more...

No way! her serving is a mind game, will never improve she will drop way back, I have no interest in her at all an Fran tiafo π

Im not in a position to speak on rankings. Some get ranked because someone retired. Im speaking of Coco's heart her nature to keep fighting. We need to give her grace and allow her experience the game more she's still very young. It's not good to compare people/athletes everyone is not the same anyone can beaten even when playing at their best.

I think she had earned the points in her wins, but tennis talent it's a no, she needs more improvement. She lacks the killer instinct to close matches and her consistency is not there. The women tennis has so much talent, if Coco wasn't quick on her feet, she would be ranked lower because she would not have the wins, her speed is top tier but need to evolve

Well said! For some reason a group of people want to make out like she's the best on tour regardless of rankings. It's astounding they are so blind to the holes in her game

Yes, I think she has made some great changes to her serving game, forehand and confidence working with McMillan. Today, unfortunately in Madrid she was ill, but still managed to win the match. She just turned 22 yrs old, mostly playing against older player, with more experience. People need to give her a break. She has a big heart loves the game and her fans

Players have accomplished way more by 20! 22 is really not that young, it's just more excuses and it's tiresome. Like watching Venus winning all those first round matches for few years now. When will her winning streak end π€¦π»

Pegula, Gauff and still Swiatek up there in my opinion!

I think it is very close with Pegula, but Gauff probably has the edge as her peak is higher!

I think 1 and 2 are pretty set. Reckon Gauff is one of five or six players who are interchangeable at number 3.

they simply are not as good as everyone thinks they are and/or the rest of the tour is improving, and even without that are much much better than everyone thinks they are. there's like 20-20 women who are going to really shake this up, and that's just the US...add the rest and there's like 40.

this is hilarious...I can't wait to see everyone's faces when those two big chicks are infiltrated.

When playing at their best, I'd still take Swiatek over anyone on the WTA Tour
