Why has palmer got more points than rogers .. I can ping the ball around alday but if there’s no End result, what makes him so special, needs to start turning up to games, just shows again that we let Delap and Jackson go to soon, and why arnt we given Estevao a start, we shuffle to accommodate other players so why not the same for him

It was expected. The team needs three quality midfielder now. One as a natural defensive midfielder. Second one as a good ball playing midfielder with energy to run consistently. Third one as a real fighter. These 3 will compliment Caicedo. Lavia and Barko should go on loan. If we play with 3 quality midfielders our defence will cope better.

The weakness in this team is the midfield. The failure to dominate midfield undermines the exciting frontline and piles way too much pressure on a developing defensive line. Our dependence on Caicedo is obvious. Lavia is made of cheese. Barco is promising but needs to bulk up and the only bit of Henderson that isn't slow is his mouth

We need a holding midfielder in the mold of Roy Keenwith a bit of bite and muscle when you come up against the likes of physical teams like Brentford and 1 more solid central defender.. Dont forget it took years for Arsenal and Liverpool to win the Premiership.

Just shows really, no matter how good your forward line is, you’re only as good as your worst players 6 bad players and 3 good ones isn’t a winning strategy

Chavarria deserves a lot of credit; we’ve not really missed Cucurella. The rest of the back line should be ashamed of themselves and the midfield actually did okay today but they’re still not good enough without Caicedo
