Were Celtic right to invest £20 million in Barrowfield with so many academy players leaving?

Yes it's not Barrowfield that's the problem it' a lack of good quality coaching. We need to spend good money bringing in good coaches from abroad to get the best out of tjr players. Bill from Jordanhill

Don't really see the point in the academy if completely honest, why would an exciting youngster sign with us at 16 when there is zero pathway into the 1st team, vata, Kelly and Cummings would all have no doubt stayed if the path was clear, yet we continue to throw money at duds✌🏻🍀🤷🏻

Yes but you've got to give them 1st team playing time Surley there someone better in the academy that's better than what's upfront just now

The SFA need to protect our clubs from greedy agents these players are Not developed. Let's be honest Doak did leave us to play at Bournemouth Karamoko to play in the championship. Both should have been superstars under development

If the investment leads to more Colby Donovan's in the future, then yes. We should be championing the next generation

We're too busy with the first team players, everyone else takes a backseat. What happened to the 16+ players, who were great and dissappear 2 Chelski etc.
