What does Anthony Gordon need to do to justify his mammoth €80 million price tag?

Gordon needs to step up now Raphinha is likely to be out for a while.

Show he can be relief upon when injuries hit, like what has happened with raphinha

I think it’s time he start showing some of this instincts to grab goals at Barca. He’s been selfless to a fault the first few games and is slowly losing his place to Adeyemi, and he needs to start bagging some goals

Gordon's success is based on the team. Thankfully, it does seem like Barca had a stylistic fit in mind and went after the player that matched it. Intentional spending can be good, just depends on overall results

Simple - score more goals! He’s been pretty good for Barca so far, some good assists and great link up with Raphinha, but the longer the wait for a first goal goes on the longer it’ll weigh on him

Consistency. He’s always showed glimpses of being a great player, but truly world class players perform every week

Win LaLiga and go far in the UCL. As long as he’s part of a winning team and keeps chipping away with assists, that’ll do just fine
