Harry Kane, Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez have all been linked with Barcelona, but who would be the best fit and why if they were to join?

caleb.sage2w ago

Kane. It’s not enough for a striker to just be a goalscorer at Barcelona, and Kane offers more than just that.

Haaland is coming one day 👀 Get any defender in the meantime to be Cubarsi's long-term partner

pranav.shahaney2w ago

It depends on what Barcelona want. If they want a treble winning/challenging squad now, then go out and get Kane. With how Raphinha is playing, he can play in behind Kane and the duo can keep interchanging positions with Yamal offering a threat from the right. A super team really. Although, if Flick is looking to build a team for 4-5 years, sign Alvarez

aaditya.krishnamurthy2w ago

Honestly, Alvarez is realistic but part of me still dreams about Haaland. And his time at City means he’d be a seamless fit with the entire passing system.

freddie2w ago

Alvarez. He wants it so bad! Kane is slightly too old to justify a big price I think, Haaland just screams Real Madrid once Mbappe goes

kyle.dimond2w ago

Still not fully convinced by Alvarez. I’d go Haaland. So much quality in that side that you don’t need him to be getting involved in much and he’ll get so much service

tom.procter2w ago

I mean they’d all be great there but Kane for me is most suited to the way Barca play. Seems he won’t push to leave Bayern though

jackgallagher2w ago

Haaland would score 100 goals a season in that team

eoin2w ago

Álvarez. Haaland is a better striker but in terms of playstyle, Álvarez is absolutely perfect for flick.

jonny2w ago

Haaland. You can be a poor team and he’ll still add 30+ goals to it. He’d also have it easy in La Liga

dakir.thanveer2w ago

Hated watching him in the Prem but put Kane in that Barcelona side! Bayern are world-class but I want his career to peak at Barcelona

dantowen819512w ago

Has to be Kane! Imagine Kane dropping deep and fizzing those passes in behind for Raphinha and Yamal

shamanth.jayaram2w ago

Definitely Haaland. Kane would be great too. Just feel Alvarez won’t be as good anymore for Barca after the saga in the summer.

jordan.harris2w ago

Would be great to see Kane there. I would be disappointed to lose Haaland from the Premier League tbh

jamesshearman232w ago

As good as Haaland is, I don’t see him as a Barcelona player. He couldn’t be any less tiki-taka. Alvarez is very good but Kane would be perfect. I can just picture him dropping deep and playing through balls to Yamal and Co

jameslloyd14.jl2w ago

I’d say Haaland, if not for their own benefit but to make sure Real Madrid don’t get him

peter.lynch2w ago

Alvarez fits the Barca way the best… but if they want non-stop goals then go with either Kane or Haaland. Those two will score bucket loads no matter who they play for, born goalscorers

george.patten2w ago

Alvarez. Can’t see the other two at Barca. Haaland feels like a Madrid player for me

josh.barker2w ago

Kane most suited to the Barca style for sure

jamie.theodosi2w ago

Alvarez or Haaland imo. Kane is the best striker in the world but don’t think he suits Barcelona’s style

johnverrall112w ago

If you can get him, the clear answer is Kane. He’d score bucket loads

chillout2w ago

Not Harry - Barca want to win things, and Kane never steps up when it matters.

callum_boyle2w ago

Alvarez feels like he compliments everyone best. Haaland feels more Real Madrid than Barcelona for some reason and Kane would feel a bit Lewandowksi-esque. Alvarez is there for 10 years potentially

james.brooke2w ago

Alvarez feels like the best fit just because of the way he could link with the other forwards, but Haaland would win Barca the Champions League. How long has it been since they had a world class No. 9 in his peak?

dale.odonnell2w ago

Haaland would be Barcelona’s ideal pick, but they’ll probably end up with Harry Kane.
