Henry Cejudo 1. Olympic gold medalist 2. ONLY bantamweight ever to simultaneously hold two division titles. Only conor mcsmegma, amanda nunez and daniel cormier have held simultaneous titles in two divisions.

Cruz. Not just for his fighting style and defences. But the guys mind set was probably the strongest I've ever seen in the UFC. No one has comeback from the injuries he had and performed the way he did.

Dominick Cruz, 100 percent. Respect must be put on Merabs name for his amazing run but the test of a true GOAT in UFC is how many times can they fend off a ravenous contender looking to end thier reign as champion. To do it 5 times is pretty insane. If it hasn't been spoken to yet, then I'll say title fights hold 5x the weight of ranked fights.

Cruz has 5 title defenses most all time ,merab 3 , im saying Cruz

I’d have to say Merab despite his fight style. Cruz a more fan friendly style but Merab is undeniable at this point

I see the argument for Merab, his 2025 was insane, literally fought and beat legends back to back but Cruz did set the bar for bantamweights and dominated for years. Curious though, has Merab changed anyone's mind about Cruz being the GOAT or is Cruz's legacy too strong?

Merab for me

Think I'd lean slightly towards Merab based on the opposition he's faced and the win streak he went on. However, the fact he's still active means it could still change

Missed much of Cruz's career so would have to go Merab. He has the numbers to back it up after last year

Cruz missed most of Cruz’s career. He got five title defenses despite knee injuries sidelining him for years. If not for the injuries he’d have a lot more defenses I’m guessing, but I’m not saying that means anything. Coulda woulda shoulda lol

It's hard to argue against Merab. The numbers don't like - even if he is abit of a one trick pony.
