Did the UFC make the right call releasing Patchy Mix?

The former Bellator bantamweight champion went 0-2 in the Octagon.

Feels harsh but he really did show absolutely nothing in those two fights. Really disappointed with how his run went

Seems a bit harsh. I'm guessing he was on good money and its just not worth it if he's gonna be a fringe top 15 guy.
