My general dislike of street circuits and the current cars with the method of batery deployment, along with my famialy all of which have been avid F1 fans for decades, the race once again was influenced by issues outside the control of drivers. Thank goodness there was not a sprint race which has too big an influence of teh cost cap regulations and does not

Hadjar def, Driver of the day. If Red Bull would've let him loose i think he had a real chance at P2. Russell had the best car. But 2 Red Bulls standing on the Podium looked awesome!

Why did the race director not call for VSC on the last lap?? That almost cost Russell the win…I’m not a huge Russell fan, but really bad call by the officials again!

Finishing a race under a safety car would be a massive anti climax to an exciting race and would take some shine from Russel's win. There was some degree of risk and I would say the easy and safe call would have been safety car and it was brave to let them race to the finish. Bet Russel was glad he won that way even if he didn't say so.
