Arsenal are THRASHED 3-0 by Brighton... what did you make of that performance? Is this a big worry or just a bump in the road? 😳

Got to mind were playing alot of games in the cups the league and then the champions league ,we have only 2 strikers 1 playing poor, but we can take it on the chin as I don't want to be sounding if im making excuses
callum_boyle1w ago
Still baffles me why Arsenal seem allergic to spending money on strikers
egunjobiadedotun2w ago
Looking at their performance, I knew this was going to happen. Now people are saying it’s going to get even worse from our next match.
callum_boyle1w ago
What worried you before? Maybe just a blip but losing before an international break is never great

Is this maybe the other side of Arteta seemingly playing a more expansive, open style? It’ll be interesting to see if he reverts to last seasons style now
cantab752w ago
He should! Other teams play low block at us always!

PECKED BY THE SEAGULLS
jonathan.gorrie2w ago
Awful but it’s tough to imagine this will cause them to spiral. Too good a team for too long for that to happen
lee.connor2w ago
A good defeat in a really weird ways a kick up the bum early in the season and now a few weeks to get things right again and go once more. Brighton are excellent .

Brighton played their hearts out: after their boss had a point to make. It won’t happen for another 125 years! Meanwhile Our lot went awol. Plus very braindead! Thicko FC!
james.brooke2w ago
Brilliant. Arsenal are nothing special at all. Been due a result like this for ages, nice to see them finally get it.
kyle.dimond2w ago
It’s hard to kinda pinpoint what about this would be a worry for Arsenal. Yeah it’s a loss but very few teams are gonna be able to press like that and Brighton scored some great goals. Think this says more about the opposition being great and Arsenal having an off day. It’s if other teams have success playing like this where it gets worrying
daviescallum422w ago
Brighton are such a top side, getting beaten by them is no cause for concern.
dale.odonnell2w ago
Everyone was talking about how perfect and rosy things were before the game. It's just a bump in the road with no reason to think they can't dust themselves off.
kyle.archer2w ago
Every team has a bad game (or more). At least this surely ends any talk about there being any invincible teams this season.
cantab752w ago
Man City! Invincible! Class team. No donkey-Gyokeres types!
shamanth.jayaram2w ago
Massive reality check. Looked nothing like our usual selves and completely deserved to get battered. Could've easily been five or six. Need to regroup and go again
cantab752w ago
Brighton played manic aggressive! Let’s do the same to them and see how they like it. We let them play! And their boss has the gall to moan about anti football! However we were also absolutely rubbish!
pranav.shahaney2w ago
What a humbling at the hands of the Seagulls. Hurzeler and Brighton are going places. Arsenal can’t be playing like this if they want to defend their crown and win the Champions League
aryansurajc2w ago
Has to be one of the most humbling experiences
freddie2w ago
Don’t get me wrong, Arsenal were poor. But, Brighton were, and have been all season, phenomenal! Don’t think it’s anything to worry about too much
camerondesc12w ago
Just a bump in the road. Still think they’re far and away the best team in the league.
callum_boyle1w ago
Man City would like a word
charlesjones2w ago
It’s just one of those days. It can happen. Need to regrouon
chillout2w ago
Agreed - but not good timing going into an international break. Leeds at home on the 10th October will be interesting.
charlesjones2w ago
Regroup*
chillout2w ago
I didn’t really see that coming to be honest, but Arsenal’s good start was never going to last forever (they are not invincible!). I’m a bit surprised, however, by 3-0 - even though this Brighton side are class.
