Is a fifth-place finish enough to warrant Arne Slot remaining Liverpool manager?

moodleydaya294mo ago

As long as Liverpool qualify for Champions league I don't have a problem

josh.barker4mo ago

How long does he get next season though? Could be a case he needs replacing by November anyway and most good managers will be off the market by then

markturbo.asare5mo ago

Beginning of the season Liverpool was competing to retain the title but as the other teams also like to avoid relegation it became hard for them. So he must do his homework well but fail it. Now we're even near champions league place and its disgusting

james.brooke5mo ago

Do you think there’s any chance we come back under Slot to challenge next year?

carolines.millerr5mo ago

Sorry must go, had too many chance, our Liverpool team deserves better 😔

tomneytam5mo ago

No

james.brooke5mo ago

Simple as that?

jemanoil5mo ago

No. It's really not about where we finish. I think we have seen enough to know that Arne is not up to the job. Excuses aside (which Slot has plenty), I think he has lost the team and when that happens you never get it back. YNWA!

james.brooke5mo ago

That’s exactly it. You can see Slot gloating about a 3rd-5th finish and going on about it all next year when people bring up the disappointment of this season. Fans have seen straight through that. He really needs to change his messaging. Then again, the team have shown some fight for him recently, so maybe all is not lost.

ebu.emina5mo ago

He should definitely go. These Dutch “philosophers” are ruining every club they manage. After them you need 10 years to recover. It’s ok to lose a game, but Liverpool is not competitive at all this season. We all saw the signs at the end of last season. Every LFC fan knows that this guy is not the right choice. Simply, no chemistry.

chosenchild.dm5mo ago

No he should go . He's not a good/ brilliant coach at all. Continue him is heart broken and nightmare. Do he waiting till wen we start shouting at him in the stadium, then he get out of our club???? Tis man doesn't have tactics or styles wic he can turn tuff game around like Klop.... Slot please go and find low division club and continue your styless

n.loggenberg5mo ago

Absolutely not !!!! he has made us a laughing stock in the Prem. We'll go nowhere with this clown in charge. Get rid of Hughs and Edwards too at the same time they're just as much to blame for this mess.

james.brooke5mo ago

I’m not sure we’re quite as bad as we think we are. Chelsea have taken the laughing stock tag for now. Who would be your choice to bring in?

Slop has turned believers to rejectors&players shocking form+injury prone conditioning=not “bad luck” but bad manager! LFC transition from Klopp’s-Slopp’s=system failure w/tactics don’t fit w/squad. LFC falling downhill -form-moods+€450m invested=> quality declining results SLOP’s made DISBELIEVERS LFClub of Fans/Players/Neutrals n’ Supporters R’ LFC Hater's

liverpoollfc75mo ago

He's gotta go

thelaird25mo ago

How can it be £450 M spent on players , and we expect at least a title challenge . We end up out of every cup limping out like lambs , even worse is our league which has been some of the worst football ive seen . Slot took it out on Salah , nothing changed , you dont let Diaz go without replacement .

kevinbranwood5mo ago

Go now you've caused enough damage

welling4x45mo ago

Really Why, Spent 1/2 A BILLON on 3 players only 2 are Any Good. The Defence as been Shocking most games & is been only a handful of players that have Newport us ticking over. Slopp you has your chance, Pack your Cloggs up & Take Konate &Gakpo with you.

aaronmcfairlane5mo ago

The slot machine hasn't paid out nor can I see it happening

gorepe155mo ago

.

makesz1892ynwa5mo ago

Never, slot has dismantled Klopps structured system, which just had to build on,so that's prove the fans he not coach for liverpool at all,he was lucky to win the league with Klopps team

catz22715mo ago

He only won the league because he didn't mess with the team. Didn't bring anyone new in. Then after winning Slot, Hughes etc instead of replacing a couple of players like Trent and Kelleher etc instead they decimated the team who also lost Jota the way we did

jeanjeanie.10015mo ago

Not really, just get rid!!

joshea7845mo ago

No he has shown he hasn't a clue

johnbartlett765mo ago

NO!!!

fergalr505mo ago

Not good enough for LFC.

sfvbiz5mo ago

No!! No, no, no....

jonathan.gorrie5mo ago

Best to end it now before the title win gets even further into the distant past

mrdelaneymiller5mo ago

Hell no! He took a team stacked with talent and made them mediocre. On top of that, he took a team that was nearly unbeatable last year and made them almost unwatchable this year. Right now, we have lost 4 of our last 5 matches and have been shut out in 3 of those matches. We are regressing quickly and that will continue if he stays.

nealmurray77nm235mo ago

If Slot stays we'll have a poor season and will be similar to what Spurs are going through now!!!!! The signs are there for me that it'll happen. There's no connection between the team and the fans any more and it will continue next season. Fresh ideas and leadership with Alonso asap

james.brooke5mo ago

I don't think we'd fall as far as Spurs, but we definitely need to learn from what's happened to them - and United last season - and understand that it isn't impossible if we keep making the wrong decisions

daniel.owen5mo ago

Genuinely don't think there is any reasonable argument for keeping him

welling4x45mo ago

About time We have a Massive clear out. LFC have let the fans down badly.

andrewthorne19665mo ago

no he should be sack

margaretbabe15mo ago

No way has to go

chillout5mo ago

james.brooke5mo ago

Who on earth is voting yes?! Get him gone!

peter.lynch5mo ago

If we get Champions League I can see him staying... one final chance to prove himself after one amazing season and one nightmare season

eoin5mo ago

Not what most fans want to see, but if he's kept on there's no point carrying this negativity into next season. Clean slate in september and a decision to be made by Christmas depending where we stand

jamie.brown825mo ago

No, get Xabi Alonso in

josh.barker5mo ago

Why Liverpool are still saying they want to back him I do not understand, the fanbase have zero faith he can turn things around
