He not only won with Klopp’s players, he won with Klopp’s culture. Slot was smart enough to massage that group, not changing too much too soon. Then Slot decided he needed to put his stamp on the culture and tactics which is a result of his ego. Fair enough, his methods took ownership from the players which contributed greatly to results. I don't think it's fair to say it's a result of his ego. He was always going to want to put his stamp on it, he's a football manager, why would he not do that?
