Getting the money is great, but finding a replacement is another story…

It's a good deal for us as I dont think hes had a good season. At least hes left on good terms and in the right way. I liked his exit interview and wish him well. I only hope we invest the money with an exceptional signing rather than a squad type player.

I hope we make at least 1 marquee signing this time round with a couple of promising prospects,we need the Brazilian lads to stay and the Italian lad oh and we need a top end goalkeeper.

On his day he was absolutely amazing. He struggled for consistency but always put the effort in. Best of luck to him, he deserves it

No in between. He is either going to smash it up or struggle full stop!

Take the money and run, Gordon is a good player but it makes you wonder what kinds of mental fees were gonna see flying around for wingers this sunmer

One of the most Football Manager moves I’ve ever seen. Intrigued to see how he gets on

tom.procter4mo ago

I have to say this is a superb fee, fair play Newcastle 👏

jamie.brown824mo ago

I will drive him to the airport myself for that fee!!!!

Newcastle should be laughing their head off. Gordon has seemingly been looking for a move away for some time and Newcastle don’t need that. Great chance for Harvey Barnes to make that spot his

Good deal all invovled? We sell quickly, while Gordon gets a huge move and Barcelona get a player who could smash La Liga. Dragging this on all summer would have been a nightmare
